Right out of the box this device connected and works flawlessly over the last couple of weeks. I use it to teach and the built-in red pointer with the mouse feature has unchained me from a desk/lectern and given me the freedom to move around. So far, it appears durable and well made.

I teach using PowerPoint files, and this allows me to roam the room while I talk. I also use the laser pointer a great deal to focus on specific things on my slides: the red beam is very strong and easily visible to my students. Great value for the money!

Bluetooth and also usb connection available.I use with a Mac on Bluetooth for presentations. Works all the time

some of the features (like opening a hyperlink) do not work on Google Slides with a Mac. But most importantly there is NO POWER SWITCH! Normally I would remove the battery when not in use, but the battery compartment is so hard to open I needed to use a metal dental tool to open the battery compartment. BTW, the Q/A says it has a power switch. It does not!

As a laser pointer (green), this device is super crisp and super bright. I am typically 10' from either screen in my classroom, but I suspect this pointer works well beyond 10'.As a slide advancer though, this doesn't work around 4' or further from my laptop. I replaced the battery with a fresh battery and made sure the USB Fob isn't obstructed from the remote.Another device I bought doesn't have as good of a pointer, but works from 20' away from my laptop. If you are near the USB Fob, this is an excellent device - easy to hold, easy to use. It didn't work great for my use case though.
