Shinho Sweet Bean Paste / Tian Mian Jiang (6.3oz)

Having recently returned from living in China for 10 years, it's good to find the ingredients that were commonly available there. Will order more staple items like this!

This is the worst Tian Mian Jiang I've ever had. It's not even sweet. I wasted my time and money.

Awesome. Most Sichuan recipes published for Westerners use soy or dark soy. The better ones specify using Pixian broadbean paste and the very best ones also specify sweet bean paste instead of soy sauce. This one is really, really good.

ONE YEAR EXPIRED-DO NOT PURCHASE. Just go to your local Asian market if you can't find sweet bean paste in your supermarket. This is disgusting and dangerous.
