Replaced old one because OBDII said I needed to, check engine light for it came back though, so either my sensor or female thread is damaged.

We ordered these replacement fuel fill caps for both our Volvos, my wife’s and mine. At first glance they appeared to be identical to the originals. However, they were extremely tight and difficult to take off or put back on after fueling. Worse yet, the tether that prevents the cap falling to the pavement during fueling was inflexible and more like hard plastic than the resilient rubber of the original caps. After only three weeks, they both broke! Don’t be mislead! These are garbage!

This product is very poor quality. Within the first week of using it the cap came apart. I should have just returned it, however, I was able to put it back together. That lasted unitl the next fill up. Total waste of money!!!! I only gave it one star because it was the lowest that I could select. Should have a scale that includes "ZERO" or in this case negative numbers!

I was a little nervous that it wouldn’t work but it fit perfectly and I passed the Colorado Emissions test with it. The original on failed.
