The book's title is Techniques for Beginners, and I found it to be a little gem. While it's definitely excellent for those who are just starting out in art, I'd say it's a great little guide for any artist at any level. Suhita covers a lot in this little book! It's got excellent examples of finding and really seeing different shapes and getting things down on paper quickly, and then going in and adding detail, to keep a seemingly overwhelming subject from being so very intimidating. She also gives examples of how just about anything can become a subject for one's art, however simple: places, people, things. And she delves into how to spend time seeing and doing contour drawings, fleshing things out with form and shadows, and how to create textures and patterns within images. She touches on relative scale, she gives examples of perspective and how to make sense out of what you are seeing in front of you, and she helps with thinking through composition and the visual paths one takes through a work of art. There are many artists' pieces to enjoy throughout the book, and good examples of her discussions to help you comprehend what she's describing. I will return to this book often to be inspired and revved up for making art!

Me está gustando mucho el libro, y la verdad es que la final hay cosas en las que no caes. De todas formas, resaltar que soy aprendiz en este mundillo. La letra un poco pequeña, pero se lee. Lo volvería a comprar.

El libro está usado, traía un nombre escrito con pluma y está maltratado, desafortunadamente no lo había abierto antes y ahora ya no estoy a tiempo para devolverlo.
