I lost my Razer Barracuda X microphone and have been waiting for the Razer brand microphone to come back in stock, but it hasn't. So I turned to Amazon to find a microphone that worked with my headset. I found this one and gave it a try. I tried multiple times, but it didn't work. Sometimes, it would work for a second but then stop. When it did pick up sound, it barely picked it up. Don't order this product.

Audio comes through, but I was told that my voice was tinny over the mic. It's a suitable replacement, but I wish there was one with quality closer to the original. The original mic was good, but the physical component died a little rapidly and I still don't know why. The headset itself still works.

So far it is working well. The replacement boom is not as beefy as the original but the longer boom positions the mic in front of the mouth instead of off to the side. So far the replacement does appear to be holding up fine.

The mail person unfortunately tossed my package over the gate when my dog was out. The mix did not last long and was unusable. I messaged the company if they could help and even though they had no obligation to, they sent over a brand new one free of charge.

Perfect fit for the headset work flawlessly

Came shipped in a bag with 2 foam covers. The boom is wound metal, like the adjustable mounts for selfie sticks. It is about 4 mm in diameter. It is very easy to adjust the position, but I don't think it will move by itself. The mic itself is flat and has a definite front and back orientation. FYI -- The side with the single round hole is the side to point at your mouth. The boom is longer than the original or other aftermarket ones that we have tried, about 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) from headset to centre of the mic. The sound quality is good.
