Columbian #10 Security Tinted Envelopes, Grip-Seal, 4-1/8" x 9-1/2", White, 250 Per Box (CO148)

Decided to get these for business, it's much easier to just peel and stick, instead of using a water stick or licking. The adhesives on a lot of envelopes do not stick well anyway and you are putting tape over it to keep it safe. Might as well skip that altogether.

I am very pleased with these envelopes. I was looking for the following combination of features (1) self sealing, (2) security marks on the inside, (3) sturdy with good thickness, (4) good price per envelope. This is exactly what I got in this product.I am attaching a collage of two photos. Photo #1 shows the envelope opened so you can see the security markings on the inside of the envelope.Photo #2 shows the grip-seal being lifted.Grip seal works well, I do not have to re-tape with scotch tape. The security markings prevent the writing being seen through the envelope if you look at the envelope in regular lighting situation. However, be aware that if you look through the envelope by bringing it to a light source you can still see the letters and numbers on a piece of paper inside of the envelope despite the security markings.Overall, I am pleased with the envelopes and would buy them again.Ali Julia review

I ordered these envelopes based on customer reviews of the Columbian brand and also that I needed ones that had a peel-away strip because I print addresses via my laser printer. I can not use regular envelopes in the laser because it heats the glue and seals the envelope before putting the contents inside. ANYHOW... My last big box of envelopes (different brand) lasted me more years than I care to admit, and before I ran out I ordered me a box of these. Boy has quality changed! On these Columbian envelopes, the privacy print is pretty faint, hardly doing its job. Likewise the quality and amount of adhesive doesn't really seal the envelope, I end up having to put a couple strips of tape to make sure it will stay sealed. About the only positive thing I can say is the price was good for the quantity. I realize it's just an envelope, but I want whatever I'm mailing to arrive in-tact and unopened...

Love not having to lick the envelopes closed. The paper is not thin and flimsy... feels substantial and should make it harder to see through. And the price was infinitely better than buying envelopes at OfficeMax or OfficeDepot.

These envelopes are a great value pack for the quantity and quality they offer. It also doesn't hurt that they have a patterned print on the interior to keep contents private and confidential, and also happen to seal well with a peel-off strip so you don't have to lick your envelopes and risk becoming a victim of biological warfare (think Anthrax)!

These are clearly top quality envelopes but the packet I received had about 90% of them stuck to the neighboring one because the glue strip ran a little too long. I had to separate them by hand before they would feed through my printer.

I was hesitant at first ordering self-adhering envelopes online because I wasnt sure how sticky they would be or if they were left in a warehouse and the stickyness would have diminished. But no complaints here! I love not having to lick all the envelopes anymore, just pull and press and its sealed perfectly. The are a great, bright white color.

Well, they're envelops that you don't have to lick. Good quality and should hold up to the wear and tear they'll get as they go through all the machines and hands at the post office facilities!
