Great Value – Long-Lasting and Saves Money!
I bought the 50 lb pail of pure sodium carbonate from Duda Energy for use in our pool, and it’s been a great investment. It works just as well—if not better than the smaller, more expensive bags from local pool supply stores. The large pail has lasted us a long time, which means fewer trips to the store and less hassle overall. Great for homemade laundry detergent

Prompt delivery, good pricing. Very conveniently packaged in 5 lb unit bags (tossed into a box by a-m-a-z-0-n). PS - Not for use by the chemically ignorant! Do not order unless you can pass this SAFETY quiz... 1) Did you get a B+ in high school chemistry? 2) Do you have REQUIRED safety PPE ? must include; a) Faceshield, b) N95 mask, c) Thick long sleeved gloves, d) Chemical spill containment like diatomaceous earth, e) Mildly neutralizing material (Sodium Carbonate is caustic / alkaline) So far, so good: Handle / open / dispense this material with care! Avoid dispersing into breathable airflow / under windy conditions! Keep away from children. Lock up unused material away from unqualified personnel. Know proper first-aid, Be able to contact 911 emergency / poison control.

Supercharge your laundry detergent.
I add this to the washing machine for my dirty shop clothes. It does a great job of breaking down oil and grease. It also gets your bath towels super clean.

Good for raising ph in the pool. Did it’s job as expected.
My reasons for 4 stars instead of 5 is that one of the 2 bags leaked. Wish I hadn’t opened the box in the kitchen. Didn’t expect that I should have opened it outside.

Freshens laundry
