Mini Babybel White Cheddar Cheese, 4.23 Ounce -- 12 per case.

Not a real gourmet cheese, but still good enough for daily use in grilled cheese sandwiches etc. Not a strong cheddar taste, definitely not "sharp", but this IS white cheddar, not yellow/orange. More soft and slightly creamy rather than crumbly. These single-serve wax-sealed packets might seem questionable at first, but they do help keep the cheese relatively fresh for a longer time than if it was all in one single block and had to be rewrapped frequently. This cheese in these single-serve packets is especially god for a family member with developmental disabilities, again so they can just open one packet at a time as needed. (I do also get her some bigger hunks of more traditional cheese sometmes, and she can cut them with a knife, but she doesn't wrap them up tightly enough, and they end up getting moldy before she can eat all of them) Also this particular product item is a bunch of the mesh bags of the individual wax-sealed packets, so it lasts a long time. We've bought the individual mesh bags from supermarkets, one at a time, so it was convenient to be able to order a bunch of them here at a quantity discount.

Listen, this cheese is fine. There's nothing wrong with the cheese itself, it has a very delicious flavor and mouthfeel. What I have an issue with is that they are trying to sell this as a different flavor from the regular babybel mozzerella type cheese. I sat down with both of them side by side and I could not tell you the difference. Maybe the white cheddar "vareity" was slightly more firm but really I think my brain was looking for any difference. White cheddar is a very distinct cheesey tart flavor and this is not it. If you like the mild flavor of the mozz, you will like this!
