CPL Filter Anti-Glare Circular Polarizing Lens for A229 series / A329S series Dash Cam Front Camera

Good fit on the Viofo 229 Really cuts down on the glare but only slightly on the light at night. So, it's a very nice accessory to have as it improves the picture from your dash cam substantially.

This is an excellent way to block glare from your dash cam. Came standard with my Viofo A229 Pro, it works great, just line up the white dot on the filter with the white dot on the camera, its press fit. Recommended.

Paired it with the A129 Pro (2K). Fits well and there was no instructions, but there is a little line on the lens and on the dash cam so I assume I just had to align it. It does make the picture quality more clear and better contrast, overall. Also, it helps with low light glare from headlights to be able to see license plates better. I do recommend it. Wish it came with it automatically, but only the 4K version has it in the box.

they do work like polarized sun glasses, I tested it on a sunglasses test card. Cuts down on a lot of glare on the windshield and from other vehicle glass in the recording. One down side, the fit is not very secure, the lens cap is not very deep so can come off. Best to put a dab of silicone around the ring to keep it on the dashcam

Indeed as description claimed, it improves color saturation, contrast, and reduces window glare. When I first carefully put it on it ended up falling off within minutes.. but on 2nd attempt I twisted it into place and now it holds tightly, no issues falling off after close to a week. I took a star off because like others have said, this feels like it should’ve been included with the a229-plus dashcam (it’s included with the 4k version) or pre-applied to the lens.. seems like a bit of a money grab.

Installed this on my Viofo, not sure if it really made a difference.

Works as it should when facing towards the sun. On play back video its clarity.

Ricevuto per sbaglio la lente polarizzata per un altro modello di dashcam viofo, il venditore si è subito premurato di mandarmi quello giusto senza nemmeno volere indietro quello sbagliato. Oggetto ottimo per la mia viofo t130, niente più riflessi del sole e immagini molto più nitide.

Quedo perfecto a mi Dashcam y necesitaba algo como este lente, para que no se grabara el reflejo del tablero sobre el cristal y tampoco el reflejo del cofre y cualquier reflejo del pavimento. La imagen es mas nítida. No es necesario para el funcionamiento de la cámara, pero recomendable.

It's not fitting

This Polarizing lens cover does a good job of reducing glare on my VIOFO a229 camera. I had a bit of difficulty installing it because it didn't come with any instructions and I didn't notice or realize the there was a line or dot that had to be lined up. Once I clued in...it went on snug and has stayed on for months.
