Teaching my 8 yr.old the basics I like the layout, easy to follow instructions. It begins easy with one letter at a time then as you follow along you start putting two letters together for syllables. By the end they should be able to read a little story. We’re not there yet but this looks promising.

If you told me I’d be ordering a Russian bukvar on Amazon, I would’ve laughed… and then happily clicked “Buy Now.” I was genuinely surprised (in the best way) to find a Russian primer available here — and the quality exceeded my expectations. The book is well-made, sturdy, and feels like a proper, traditional ABC book, not a flimsy reprint. The print quality is great, the pages are clear and easy to read, and it’s perfect for introducing the Russian language to kids. Such a lovely find for bilingual families or anyone wanting to teach their child Russian. Definitely one of those rare Amazon discoveries that makes you smile.

It is a nice book for a preschooler: structure and content is good, letters are large enough, coloring is nice. It is not structured alphabetically but still good, gradually words become complex.
