Indeed, simplicity at its finest! This device takes a Dewalt battery and provides the capability to externally wire 12v, opening up a world of possibilities. I've used it to wire low-voltage lighting inside my shed, which is too far from a power source. While I don't get extended lighting time unless I use larger batteries, this adapter has given me the opportunity to do something I wouldn't have been able to otherwise. It's effective, solidly built, and adds a fun element to DIY projects.

The fit could be better. The battery does not “click” so that means its not in all the way like in a power tool.Once i push hard, the battery click but now i cant take it out!

Good value for money. Works well
