Logan Lift Top Coffee Table in Cherry

Table was easy to assemble, looks great, and works well. We had another like it for over a decade and this was a great replacement when that one wore out.Pros:Lift Up Top- perfect for eating or kids doing homework or working on the laptopLots of storage space for remotes, coffee table books, extra school suppliesOur family absolutely loves this piece of furniture- it has great utility as well as looking very nice and sturdy.Cons:This model has little drawers on the lower half near the floor- if you assemble them with the knobs supplied, you may find you hit those knobs with your feet as you sit in front of the table. You can replace these knobs with smaller/smoother ones that you can get at any hardware store, or just leave them off.The package is very heavy- took two people to bring it inside after it was delivered. Best to open the box and move piece by piece to the assembly area if you're working alone.We have a very deep pile carpet and so I put several washers on the wheels when I assembled it to raise them so it still rolls. If you are on hard floor or a very thin carpet this probably wouldn't be an issue.

Beautiful Coffee Table. -- Arrived on time and boxed well. It's very heavy, so have another person with you to lift it into the room where you'll assemble it. It comes partially assembled. You just need to put the legs on and for that you'll need 2 people due to its size and weight. But wasn't that hard to do! Looks great with my other Cherry furniture! And has a beautiful wood design on the top - inlayed design, that also matches the design on our entertainment center!. Looks great! It will tip easy once it's in the LIFT position, so be sure not to lean too heavy on it, or lean on it to get up. Also - we're having to be extra careful not to Nick it as it will scratch. I'm using a small table cloth when we eat on it so we don't scratch it. I'm worried about that. Great table, great value too! I've seen it online for up to $300. more than this vendor! And they go for about $400 - $500 in stores. It's also a nice large size. and i like the double drawers in the bottom. You'll love it.

Don't get me wrong, this is a decent piece of furniture. It's just missing in the details and for the price, I expected better.If this were a car, I would call it a 20/20 car. It looks great from 20 feet away, passing by at 20 miles an hour ;) The paint and color is fair, but doesn't look like it's going to hold up for more than 5 years. The finish on top doesn't extend underneath the table-top and whatever stain they applied there doesn't cover the edges very well.The table mechanism is solid, and it moves smoothly after it's assembled; but the bumper pads underneath the table-top are cheap and two of them were already falling off right out of the box.The knobs on the drawers; again, adequate but clearly very cheap. Some nice porcelain knobs from the hardware store and a little touch up paint are in order.For mail-order Chinese furniture, it's not bad. I requested a partial discount from the seller due to the marring and scratches, and they responded quickly with a discount so I'm satisfied with it.

We were looking for a very specific size and color of lift top coffee table. It's always tough to buy a piece of furniture on line, but we're very satisfied with this table. The description does not show or really discuss how the top opens. We wanted something where the top opened and moved back away from the table, so you can eat at it while on the sofa.This table is well made and sturdy. It's pretty heavy, which is important in a lift top table so it doesn't tip over. The top is a solid piece of wood and nicely finished.Some complained that it was hard to assemble. There is a secret. Once the table's upright legs are attached to the bottom of the unit, it really takes two people to lower the top down onto the legs. The legs are angle cut where the table rests, so the top has to be carefully lowered into place. Because of the weight, the top can force the legs apart and slide down inside the legs and damage the wood. Here's the secret, measure the distance from the top of the lower section to where the legs are angle cut to accept the top. Place some books or something similar that are same as the measurement at both ends of the table bottom. Now, when you lower the top in place, it' can't force the legs apart and will rest on the books while you attach the top to the legs.

This is a solid piece seems to be mainly made out of real wood verse particle & resin...Main issues I have with it: 1.) Sits too low W/O lift-top engaged. 2.) When the lift-top is engaged it's way too high...I wish you could at least adjust the hight levels of the lift-top...Seems like poor foresight not to have that as an option here?

This coffee table is fabulous, far exceeded my expectations. It was packaged very well, so there was no damage. Assembly was a nightmare. The diagram shows to put the table upside down, attach the legs to the table top and to the base, but the hole to insert the bolt to the legs cannot be accessed without lifting the table top. I don't remember seeing any other negative comments about assembly, so I must have been doing something wrong, but I was finally able to assemble it by supporting it with a couple stands that were the right height. Now that it's assembled and upright, I LOVE IT! It's great quality, great price, and absolutely gorgeous. I didn't realize there was a drawer on both sides, that's a bonus! And the drawers are lined. This is a really lovely table and a great price. The lift top functions beautifully. I'm so happy with this purchase.
