Ok so I gonna start with saying that I read some of the reviews and I need to say they are full of ….This is brilliant piece of kit , easy to install it’s basically no brainier you push this in the gaps in your dash ( tools provided ) and plug in to usb that’s it takes 10 minutes if that .Now addressing some of the reviews.I didn’t experience any noise ( Definitely there is no noise coming out of this kit )There is no fading or any problems with brightness whatsoever.And mine been installed now for a while and it’s not getting hot ( so definitely not a fire hazard )I can honestly recommend this to all of you thinking of buying it’s great . Don’t believe me watch my video it speaks for itself.That’s all PEACE

So I don't usually write reviews, but thought I'd give my points on this.The ambient light kit was relatively easy to install and simply requires a USB connection to be powered on.The brightness of the light strip is spot on and compliments night time driving, makes it seem more than value for only £12.As others have pointed out, there is a slight humming noise coming from the box, but if you can place it in a glove compartment or tuck it away, then the sound is barely audible.I can't make a comment on the longetivity of this product, which is why I gave it a 4 stars.For those looking for that tron effect, ice blue is the way to go.Also, the lights do turn off when the vehicle is locked (from my experience), so no worrying on a depleted battery overnight.Hope the image attached gives an impression on what to expect. :)

The media could not be loaded. Once arrive package was small and only needed the prier and two information notes, for installation it quite fidderly as you have to pry your dash bit by bit to get the thin tube around, it's best to test the lights first and start from the USB and work your way up then cut with scissors when completed. P.s your thumbs are gonna be numb and hurt from pushing it in!

The media could not be loaded. Lights look good and are easy to fit, but the voltage converter (5V to 2.3V) is quite loud on its own and adds noise through the speakers when used with radio/fm transmitter.

Obviously it doesnt work for every car if you dont have a small ‘gap’ that you can slide this into. I have a Mercedes a class and it worked brilliantly
