Excellent flavored tea
I am really enjoying this loose leaf hibiscus tea. I prefer to buy a pound of loose leaf at a time so I can make my own tea blends and have already added this to a couple new blends. It is nicely dried and has a lovely aroma. Once brewed is has a full pleasant floral flavor and makes beautiful red colored tea. It’s easy to brew and appears to be great quality and freshness. The price was very reasonable and I will definitely order again as needed.

Lovely, fresh smell and taste. Perfect for tea.
I love hibiscus tea, and particularly this one that has hibiscus, dried apple, and dried orange pieces in it. That stuff is expensive, however, and I really wanted to tailor that experience. Since I dehydrated things all the time, I managed to do all the fruits myself, but I would have to buy the main ingredient: Hibiscus flowers. I did a lot of research before buying, because it really matters where the flowers come from and how they are grown. No one wants to drink pesticide. This particular co-op has a great reputation, so I decided to give it a try. This is a lot of flowers! The bag is big and full of perfectly dried hibiscus blossoms. The smell is heavenly, and they even have a good color, which means they weren't dried in too much heat. They are simple to use if you're going with straight tea. Hot water, sweetener and some blossoms. It tastes exactly like I wanted. And when I added some dried apple, a couple of other herbs, and a slice of dried orange, it was so perfect. You can get a whole lot of tea out of this bag and you can customize it any way you like. Very highly recommended.

MOST HELPFUL & SINCERELY HONEST REVIEW
Package arrived rather quickly, shipped via Amazon Prime. You get a lot of product (bright red in color), and great value for your hard-earned money. HOW DID I USE IT: I boiled 8 cups of water in a medium-sized pot, poured/added 2 cups of Hibiscus Flowers and some blended Ginger to boiling water. (Note: I Used Vitamix blender to blend Ginger very well, but any blender of choice, is good). covered pot with lid, I lowered flame to Low, and let ingredients seep for around 8-10 mins. After that, remove from heat and let stand overnight to be cool off, so I can extract every ounce of goodness from it. Next day, I hand-squeezed the flowers, strained it only once with a perfect strainer I purchased right here on Amazon, added a dash of sweetener of my choice. I placed deep red drink in Mason Jars, and put in fridge to get that cool refreshing, mellow goodness. All I can say is YUM, YUM, Yum--shut the front door! TART Versus NON-TART: Though some may not like its tartness, it's definitely not an issue for me. In fact, if it's not tart I feel like it's not doing much in terms of health benefits, of course. Because if I simply pour hot water on it and let it sit for only 5 minutes, for me it tastes like water with color added to it, and that's not how I like it.--that's just my opinion. That being explained, just do whatever works for you. SUMMARY This is exactly as described. It is thoroughly sifted and very clean. I had no issue with debris, hair-like strings or sticks, or any trace of foreign object included in this package/product. This made a delicious, scrumptious, mellow, drink. I drank to my heart's content. I highly, most definitely recommend it to those who may be considering future purchase. IMPORTANT NOTE Please always note carefully, that I'm not a doctor, I'm just a consumer of this product who've tried it and absolutely loved it. Therefore I cannot vouch for it's medicinal/health properties and benefits. However, I usually research anything medically and/or health related on Mayoclinic and WebMd. Don't take my word for it all because I rail about how much I enjoyed it, it's solely up to each individual to please do his/her own in-depth research in determining if this will be beneficial to you and your health. Please consult your physician and seek medical advice if you have second thoughts about the use or consumption of this product. Always remember what works for some may not necessarily work for all. I hope you found this review helpful. Thanks for reading!

How to Brew and Serve This Tea | Nutritious, Refreshing, Caffeine Free & Full of Anti Oxidents
According to many sources, this is a very nutritious tea and loaded with anti-oxidants. It does have a powerful tangy taste and can pair wonderfully with a date when brewed and served hot. It can also give you many cups of tea. If brewing in the infusers that is inserted into cup, you will get progressively less darker brew and less intense flavor with each cup you brew, otherwise it is best o brew it in a teapot in larger amounts. It can also be brewed and served cold for a delicious refreshing drink in summer and/or mixed in with carbonated water for a fantastic fizzy drink. Here is how to brew it for cold serve: INGREDIENTS > 1 Cup Dried Hibiscus Flowers > Orange Or Lime Slices For Garnish > 3/4 To 1 Cup Sugar. Sub for honey or other sweetener. This will counter the tangy flavor. > 1/2 Cinnamon Stick (A Must) or Powder Equivalent > A Few Thin Slices Ginger or Powder Equivalent > Black Pepper or White Pepper > 2 Quarts Water > Lime Juice (Optional) METHOD Put 4 cups of the water and the sugar in a medium saucepan. Add cinnamon, ginger slices, etc if you would like. Don't bring to a violent boil. On a medium heat let all the flavor to infuse and the teapot to brew for 20-30 minutes. Steep with dried hibiscus flowers: Remove from heat. Stir in the dried hibiscus flowers. Cover and let sit for 20 minutes. Strain: Strain into a pitcher and discard (compost or dump in your garden) the used hibiscus flowers, ginger, cinnamon. At this point you can store ahead the concentrate, chilled, until ready to make the drink. Chill and serve with ice or mix into fizzy water and it makes a super nice drink to go with lunch, dinner or standalone. Add a little lime juice for a more punch-like flavor.
