These are great jars for storage. I use mine in the freezer for my bone broth. But I don't put the lids on, as not to break them. I just place some cling film over the tops. I havent used them for preserving, so not sure how they withstand water or pressure canning. I will say, these had some of the best packaging I have come across.

For those of us in the UK who have been trying to match wide mouth jars available in the UK with US lids recommended by Adrienna from YouTube's 'Clean Food Living' I have finally found the jars to match.... 'The Easy Fermenter Lids, and Mason Jar Sprouting Lids both fit these jars, and available on Amazon 👍 The 32 oz size are twice the volume of the widely available 0.5Ltr Kilner Wide Mouth Jars. The above mentioned lids do fit 0.5Ltr Kilner jars but I find the jars themselves too small for various ferments. The Litre Pickle Jar from Kilner have a much bigger lid circumference. Hope this helps ☺️

I really like these jars, a good size and the pattern looks nice. I needed to properly sterilise them and so steamed them for 90minutes, not touching the bottom of the pan. When taking them out, one of the jars had a small crack in the bottom corner. Maybe just a dud, and it can still be used, however I feel it is weak and won't be steaming it again, just dishwasher next time.

I'm happy with these I use them for making yoghurt in my instant pot also for Saurkraut. I wash them first then sterilize in the microwave. They seem to be qood quality up to now.

But lids rust very quickly
