Bought this as an alternative to going to one of the stores that has the machines to have them at home. It would be cheaper to just go out and get them in the store. The home unit doesn't shave the ice small enough to be to be drawn through a straw. Since I don't drink margaritas, I can't tell you if it is small enough for them. As the title says, Not Worth The Money.

The kids really enjoy this. Can’t wait to put it in the camper for summer.
