This item is very handy and helpful for closing the screen door. It is NOT designed to use for closing both doors when screen is attached to outer door. You risk wrecking the screen door and/or pulling out or bending the handle. Installation isn't difficult per following the instructions, but key is measuring the door and opening properly. Need to get ends properly placed so screws will go into door like other screws already in the door and making sure when door is closed the bracket won't hit the door frame.

This makes it so much easier to exit the camper when my hands are full! I installed it where the bar covers the handle so I just push the bar down to open the door, and it works like a charm. Before I installed this, I was finding myself grabbing -at the screen to close the door, causing the screen to pop out, this eliminated that problem!

This bar is awesome. Really easy to install, we use itbas a screen opener which is way better then just having the little handle. I love it.

Easy to install.

This resolves some problems where non rv people dont know what handle to use but if using only as a support bar there are better options. I had two of the screen door support bars on my old RV and we missed them greatly when we got our new RV. The new steps require the door open all the way to deploy them and the door has a magnet to hold it open. This makes something like this necessary to close the door without having to go down and up the steps holding the door. At the RV show many had these installed to open the screen when closed making it a handle. This felt flimsy to me so I decided to only attach to the screen door with 4 screws. It feels flimsy still and I have had issues with the self tapping screws stripping holes and falling out. Basically itbhas to tap 2 layers of the screen. One will make the hole for forst layer and then while tapping the second layer it strips the first. If you can get it in far enough it may grab the second layer but does not always and screws have come out the first week. There are also only 2 screws (1ea) holding each side of the platic handle to the middle metal piece. In other versions of the screen door bar there were 2 sets that held it steady. Pros Nice aid to open/close screen door 2 options to install as a latch or not Helps to get the door off the magnet to close it. Cons Feels flimsy and weak even as just a support bar Screws holding to screen have come out If I were to do this again I would get the onlder support bar only.
