This is a pretty simple product, but it does exactly what it is supposed to do. I cut it half and then used a lighter to treat the cut ends. Once done, it fit perfectly over the towing chains on my trailer. I think they are thick enough to protect the chain from the hitch stand, and were well priced.

Not much to say, it's exactly as described. Easy to install, provides protection (both UV and from road grit/grime) for the first bit of synthetic rope. Good value for the price. Good quality.

Worked very well to reduce the chatter on our trailer safety chains. The size is snug and appropriate for our 1" wide chains, wouldn't want to use it on anything much larger. I'm really happy with this wrap. I used it to wrap some chains that would be bouncing around on the grille of my old truck and I didn't want the chains chewing up the paint. I read a review here that says the product can't be cut - that's simply not true. Cut it to whatever length you want, and fuse the ends with a lighter to keep it from unraveling. One other tip, is you can use electrical heat shrink to give the ends a more finished look and to keep the wrap from sliding around. Getting this set up on a chain was really easy, the end result looks good and it protects the chain and my truck from damage. Overall, this worked really well and I'm happy with this purchase. I'd get this brand again next time.

I built some 5/16" soft shackles and this was a great fit for 4 of them as a chafe guard. Snip the length, burn the edges until it melts back onto itself, then sleeve it on. Works well!

I use this to cover my chains on my trailers. It's important to ensure that you don't create sparks that could trigger a forest fire! Plus, it somewhat quiets the chains. Great thickness and very easy to install.

It’s a good quality of you don’t need to cut it. We received a piece that was no way near 2 meters in first place and on top when you try to cut the unwanted length, it started shedding that was impossible to control and we were afraid not to show any heat to it to seal it. Returning it.
