I've worked with many different kinds of silicone guns but this one is the best of all for the price you pay for it. The build quality is solid for a small price.

Very poor quality, the top for the bar is made of plastic and keeps coming off...not robust, bought another one from a different brand and disposed this one in the bin

Amazons Basic Heavy Duty Sealant Caulking Gun. I've bought a one of these devices from the local well known hardware store and they buckled half way through my project, so needing another one several years later I found it convenient to buy from Amazon and their range of "Basics" products which I always find good value for money, I've already got their HiFi cables and was very impressed with the quality. This caulking gun is very sturdy and well built, it's simple to use but feels solid in your hand when you apply the caulk, upon closer inspection I feel this will last a few years, whenever I need to use it I can always get it out so it doesn't feel like a disposable ones you get from the local hardware stores. It is my first caulking gun and it worked really well. I was able to control the movement and caulk well. No leakage. Build quality is really good and hoping it will last long. Let’s see.
