Not a good flashlight.
I was looking for a reliable flashlight for a week-long camping trip. This arrived the night before we left. It had problems turning on before I even opened the package, but I was stuck with it at that point. Sometimes it worked fine. Sometimes it took multiple trys to get it to turn on. Sometimes you had to open the bottom slightly and close it again to turn it on. Sometimes a little bump in the palm of the hand got it to work. All the reviews were by first-responders, so it must be great, right? Nope. I've had $5 flashlights that worked better.

Great light!
I originally had the original single output T5 from Inova, but decided to upgrade to this model. I really like the ability with multiple settings so you don't need to use full power all the time and can take down the lumens from less light needed tasks. Battery usage i think is better in this model due to the multiple output. Great flashlight that takes a beating. I use mine in fire investigations and handles well with the grippy handle and has been dropped a lot on concrete.

Love mine
this is a brand the police use and they work great and are very bright it has 4 settings low, medium, high, strobe. hit once for high/ hit twice in a row for medium/ hit 3 times in a row for low/ hit very fast i believe 2 times for strobe/ on off high just hold and let go/ one click to turn off on all. believe this is under a foot or just about a foot in length. love mine but batteries are hard to find had to buy them through amazon...

Outstanding quality LED light!
This is truly a professional grade LED flashlight. This identical item is sold at a local uniform store for use by Police/Fire and other Public Safety personnel. It is incredibly durable and the brighest LED I have ever seen. It is not inexpensive, but you do get what you pay for. It is available in both disposable battery operation and nicad rechargeable. Battery life obviously depends on the use it gets. It surely will outlast and traditional flashlight.

Received faulty, will not buy again
Right out of the box you press the tail switch once and it turns on, but it will not turn off. The only way to turn the light off is to loosen the tail cap.

Little work horse
I've worked the night shift for over 10 yrs and this is the best light I've had. Intensely bright on the bright setting and excellent on the mid and low settings, as well as an awesomely bright strobe feature. This small package of illuminated dynamite uses three 3V batteries and goes through a set about every two weeks with normal use. My employer provides free batteries, so this isn't an issue for me. I've used just about every light in 10 yrs on graveyards and this is hands down the best light I've had. Don't let the small size fool you, this is my go-to light in hours of darkness.

I liked it so much I bought another when I lost the first. It is like a Timex watch, takes a licking and keeps on ticking!
I bought my first T5 in 2010. I was flat out amazed with the output and the ruggedness. I am a patrol officer so it gets used pretty much on a daily (or nightly) basis and It probably has over 1000 hours of use. The reason I went with the non-rechargeable is in my opinion after the extra cost of a charger and a replacement battery after so many charges I come out by just buying and replacing the non-rechargeable batteries, but I do buy in bulk. It has lit my way thousands of times and has even been used as a defensive weapon, but that is a story for another day. I have noticed the lens is starting to cloud a little but it is barely noticeable. I thought I lost it and purchased another for replacement. I found my first one and now have two.

Lots of light in a small package.
Very bright on high beam and does quite well on the low beam setting also. Fits an open ended 6P light holder.

This is my second Inova light and I trusted the old one very much. I bought this one because I needed it for different applications than I was using my T3 for and the newer generation of Inova lights are brighter than the old ones. This light has replaced almost all my others. I didn't think that it would be as useful as it is but the different power modes and the very very long life and made this my go-to light. I bought it for camping and I usually only use it on low or medium, but I really like the option of the high mode when you really want to light things up. It's bigger than the usual size of tactical lights but the three CR123 batteries last far longer than usual. The medium is more than bright enough for most uses and has very long battery run time. The light is build very well and puts up with abuse. The switch doesn't feel as good as the non-multi-function switches that Inova used to use but the extra modes are worth it. I don't like the momentary on for this light. If you turn the light on by pressing and holding the button for a few moments then when you let go of it the light will go out. This would be very useful for signalling or just taking a look at something as older switches use to be able to do this by design. If you didn't press a switch all the way until it clicked then the light wouldn't go out when you let go of it. You have to hold this button too long to utilize this feature so signaling takes far too long (if you need to be able to do that, I do it for work but I have another light for it now. The other light that I use for work , theMagLite MagTac, allows you to signal because the default mode is momentary on and you have to click it twice quickly to have the light stay on. This Inova light makes it very awkward. It also doesn't stay on when you do want to use the momentary for longer than just to signal. It's as though once the light goes into momentary mode, it just doesn't seem to stay engaged or something. It isn't annoying enough to give less than 5 stars. I can turn it on and hold my hand in front of it if I have to use it to signal. Overall, I really like and trust this light. It was certainly worth the $120 or so that I paid for it.
