Simple screw-in feature sets this one apart
The problem with plug in outlet expanders is that the more things you plug in to them, the more likely the constant pull and plug of cords will cause the outlet to wiggle its way out of the socket… but not this one! Adding a screw to secure it to the wall plate seems like a very basic feature, but it’s so smart. Why didn’t they think of that sooner? Now I can plug in cords to my heart’s content and not worry about this One Beat multi plug from coming out of the wall.

Good value, but doesn’t sit flush to the wall.
I have another one of these from a different brand; I liked it so much I decided to get another, but with 2 USB-C ports. This was a great value.I took out the other one and installed this one, however I noticed it doesn’t sit flush to the wall. I thought maybe it was the receptacle itself, but my other one sits almost perfectly flush.I don’t like the gap around this unit, not just because it looks weird, but I would be afraid of debris or liquids entering and shorting out the receptacle. (This is live AC power after all, and it needs to be respected.)Comparing the designs, the rear of this unit it flat, while the other has a slight recess. That allows the other to surround either the receptacle, or perhaps even the existing wall plate (if not removed). I put the other one back in place; even without the screw threaded in it sits flush.EDIT: I went ahead and pulled off the old one, put a wall plate back on, and then installed this new one. Again there's a gap but I feel better with the wall plate there to "seal" against the wall (although I notice even the plate is not totally flush to the wall).I have been getting a couple more MagSafe USB-C chargers been learning more about the 15W capability of MagSafe, and that my phone can be "Safe"-ly charged at 15W. The biggest reason I bought this item is because this is one of the few at the price point that has TWO (2) USB-C ports. (Though this comes at the expense of one USB-A port.)I REALLY wanted to haveI’m going to try to find another use for this OneBeat unit if I can, hopefully I find another receptacle where it will sit flush. Or somewhere where it won’t be exposed, maybe behind a couch or other furniture. Otherwise I will have to return it, which is a bit of a disappointment.

Finally, No More “Outlet Hunger Games”
This surge protector has officially ended the daily battle in my house over who gets to plug in their charger. With five outlets and four USB ports (including USB-C), it’s like the Switzerland of power strips—neutral and fair to everyone’s gadgets. The 3-sided design means plugs aren’t all crammed together, and the 1680J protection gives me peace of mind that my devices won’t fry during a storm. I stuck it on the wall, and now it looks like a little charging command center—practical, sturdy, and just clever enough to make me wonder why I didn’t buy one sooner.

– Great-looking and functional, but USB ports could be better
I recently installed this wall-mounted power strip in my home, and for the most part, I’m really satisfied. The design is sleek and modern, and it blends perfectly with the wall without sticking out. The AC outlets work flawlessly—I’ve plugged in everything from chargers to small appliances without any issues. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the USB ports aren’t as reliable as I’d hoped. Sometimes my devices charge slowly or don’t recognize the connection right away. It’s not a dealbreaker since the regular outlets work perfectly, but if you’re planning to depend heavily on the USB ports, you might find them a bit inconsistent.Overall, it’s a good product—especially if you need extra outlets in a clean, installed look. Just don’t rely too much on the USB charging capabilities.

Compact, Versatile Surge Protector with Useful USB-C Ports
We’ve found this surge protector to be a solid addition for managing multiple devices in our home office. The combination of **5 AC outlets with 4 USB ports—including USB-C—**offers great versatility, especially since many devices now rely on USB charging. The 1680-joule rating provides decent surge protection for everyday use, and the ETL listing gives us confidence in its safety standards. Its 3-sided design helps maximize space and makes it easier to plug in bulky adapters without blocking other outlets. The wall-mount capability is handy for keeping things neat and accessible. The power strip’s size and cord length are convenient for both desktop and travel setups. One minor downside is that the joule rating is moderate compared to higher-end models, so while it’s perfect for regular household electronics and USB devices, it may not be ideal for protecting very sensitive or expensive equipment. Also, the USB ports share limited amperage, so charging multiple high-power devices simultaneously can reduce charging speed.Overall, this surge protector delivers good value with user-friendly features, especially for those who need a versatile USB charging solution alongside standard outlets. If protection of high-end electronics is a priority, considering models with higher joule ratings may be beneficial. Otherwise, this unit performs well for everyday power management needs.

Genius design, very versatile
New houses don’t have enough outlets in the right places. I have a 20’ long wall in my living room on wall where tv sits atop its stand, only two outlets on this wall about 4-5’ from each end….none in middle of wall! The two usb outlets make it even more useful. Great product!

Great product
Great product would recommend this product to others only if you have a stick build home these are not for a modular home I had to switch out electrical boxes in order for the holding screw to fit and have a place to be attached to.
