Excellent light
Easy set up, amazing light! Well worth the cost. It extends to illuminate a large area. We use it for night clam digging.

Make sure you take the time to stake it down if you are on uneven ground.
Love the versatility of this light. Works great out at camp, and the included remote is a game changer. If you have to get out of your tent in the middle of the night for some reason, you can light up your campsite to see what’s going on before you get out. Also it goes up pretty high, I wish it were just a little bit taller though to keep the bugs further away when it’s on. It packs up nice and small, and recharges pretty quickly. I 100% recommend, I will actually be buying a second myself.

Good, not perfect
Great camping/overlanding light, on the pricey side though ($100 for used like new, I'd be happy to spend only around $70 for a new one). Pro 1: Very compact and lightweight comparing to other camping area lights of similar height (8 ft), doesn't shine into my eyes due to the height of it. Pro 2: Great radio remote with glow-in-the-dark buttons (too short lifespan of glowness in the dark tho) and those buttons are dedicated for almost every light mode it has, no need to memorize weird button combinations to switch it on/off. Remote works through tents, walls etc (although not that consistently through walls), so you can turn it on during the night from a tent to see what or who is wandering around your campsite. Pro 3: Nice simple bag with separate zippered compartment for included wall charger and usb-c to usb-a charging cable. Pro 4: Light works while charging. Pro 5: Adjustable ball joint and individually articulated legs are good for leveling the light on uneven surfaces. Pro 6: The main advantage of the light comparing to others for me is that it has cozy warm amber light mode which is amazing for camping nights near a campfire. Pro 7: Built in "tent stakes" is also a very nice touch. It has holes in the legs as well, if you want to use your own tent stakes. Con 1: My biggest concern with this light is that its remote is supposed to be working with any light of this manufacturer, which might be a good thing when you have several of these lights on your campsite and want to switch them on/off all at once, but if there happens to be another group of people with the same light, you can interfere with their lights and vice versa. And especially this seems to be a problem when light is packed in my truck bed close to a propane tank or a gas can, considering the light gets very hot when on, not to mention that it will drain the battery if someone other than you happen to have same remote in close proximity who can switch their and your lights, whilst yours is packed and not in use. I'd rather have the remote to be paired with its particular corresponding light, like Tresda or Sylstar lights do, to avoid that interference. Con 2: The other con of the light is that its pole kinda flimsy/shaky during winds due to all the weight being in the top, I guess it's a trade off for the compact size and lightweightness, but nevertheless. Aluminum tubing in place of carbon fiber one would make more sense here, I believe. Charging time from 0 to full: about 5.5 hours Battery life on max white light: they claim it to be 1.5 hours, however in my testing the light kept lowering its brightness (probably some overheating protection) on its own, and whenever I noticed it I set it back up to max brightness, and it held up to 3 hours. Nice thing that the light has a spotlight mode and can be used as a handheld flashlight as well as can be hanged on some tree branches or inside a tent loops with provided hooks. However the fact that it held into the pole with just a magnet is a bit concerning, especially if it's windy outside, it feels like it can detach from the pole and fall somewhat easily if shaken/moved from place to place, 1/4-20 thread would be nice to have there in addition to the magnet, which would make the light even more versatile since it could be attached to any camera tripod, especially considering that the pole attaches to the tripod with the exact thread. Could use some reflective or glow-in-the-dark stickers on the legs and pole itself, however this is fixable with just a third party stickers. Other than that it's a nice quality made lightweight camping/overlanding/area light.

Terrible stand design with weak materials and overall design issues
Update: 2023-07-125: Amazon sent me a new one and the legs open and close a lot easier. The light actually collapses all the way down as it should with no resistance at the bottom like the other one. I'll update again after I use it on the next trip in a week. I still feel the legs and extensions need to be redesigned. They are too weak prone to failure with any degree of dust/debris. Update 2023-07-18: I really tried really hard to like the product, but the design and materials used leave a lot to be desired. I really like the light itself, but the telescoping stand really needs to go. The friction lock tubes are a nightmare to use when they get dusty. The inverted leg design is understandable to house the battery pack at the bottom, but that could have been easily resolved by attaching the battery directly to the light at the top. The legs are made of U-beams that are extremely thin walled and the brace for them are flat metal bars that are easily bent with very little force. They use the same friction tube for the outer piece that the legs attach to so the slide ring for the legs don't slide smoothly. If you get dust on the unit, as one does when camping, opening and closing them is extremely difficult and I actually bent the flat leg braces trying to close the legs because the ring wouldn't slide over the outer tube due to the material used and the small amount of dust on the tube. Even with the lock ring fully removed from the ring, it still wouldn't slide to fold up the legs. There's too many flaws to warrant a $200 price tag. Update 2023-07-05: I took the light on a weekend trip to test it out before returning it to get an idea if I really want to get a new one on order. It performed as advertised and did better than I expected. I found some things I really liked about it and some that I wish they would change. The good: The battery lasts a LONG time. I ran it all weekend without needing to charge it. I ran the white light at 50% and it was more than bright enough to see and cook with. I ran the red light all night at it's max brightness all night so we can walk around if needed. When I finally took it down Sunday morning, I still had well over 50% left on the battery. The remote control is nice to have so you don't have to walk up and press the button on the light base. The stand itself is pretty sturdy and I think I understand the design decision behind the inverted legs. The bad: Lets start with what I found was the most annoying... the use of plastic for the pole extensions and how they "lock" in place. The sections are friction locked when you pull them all the way out. This makes the pole sway a lot if you don't extend it all the way because there is a gap between the section. I understand the need to save some weight and maybe cost, but I feel having a mettle pole with clamp locks would have made the pole feel a lot sturdier. Not to mention having some dust and debris falling into the sections would cause less damage to the pole sections. This particular design makes the pole feel extremely flimsy. The remote has a extremely limited range and uses a non-rechargeable battery. Having it charge when mounted to the bottom of the stand would have been great. You have to be within 20-feet of the light for the remote to work. The red light is DIM. even at max brightness, it is really DIM. It's just enough to navigate with but DIM. Old Review: The box was previously opened and sealed using new round sealing stickers over old ones. The packaging is missing. You can see the marks along the shaft where the legs slide and fold up. It's dusty and there was dust and dirt inside the extension tubes. The battery was almost fully charged when I received it. Batteries are usually shipped about 30%-40% charged. I paid over $200 for a NEW item. This isn't new.

Super bright and great light spread
I am really happy with this light and the tripod stand so far! The flood pattern is plenty bright and it spreads out so you can see what you're working on without getting blinded. The standard flashlight mode is super bright and has some good distance, that one will blind you. Really good construction quality on everything, especially the tripod. It is surprisingly sturdy and is easy to get the light in the right spot unlike that useless kid that always shines it in your eyes. The remote is a cool bonus and nice to have with the tripod fully extended. Thanks STRK for making some high quality and creative products!

Cute, but too small and not sturdy
cute for something small but wasn't big or sturdy enough to keep. Didn't throw light like expected. Cute design. Nice remote, but easy to lose.

Excellent battery life and well made
I used for 3 nights at just above lowest setting around the camp and the battery level stayed at 4 lights. I wasn't expecting this much battery life. It worked very well and is light weight. Very sturdy construction.

Actually it’s kind of expensive for the price I paid, it’s good but could be priced lower.
