Umbra Twilight Double Curtain Rod Set – Wrap Around Design Ideal for Blackout or Room Darkening Panels, 48 to 88 Inches, Nickel

Great quality for the price and very easy to install. The wraparound feature works well and gives the curtains a nice clean look. I like the black finish a lot; it feels very modern. I used a 1/8" drill bit for the pilot hole to screw directly into the stud for two of the brackets, and I used a 1/4" drill bit for the pilot hole for the wall anchors for the third bracket since there wasn't a stud nearby. Definitely mount directly into studs if you can, especially if your curtains are on the heavy side. If you're mounting near the ceiling like I did, make sure you leave enough space to be able to slide the brackets on and off of the mounting plates. If you're using the center bracket, it's *technically* slightly more difficult to put the curtains on the rod, though honestly I still found it to be very easy. Extending the rods is also super easy. We mounted the plates 16" from the edge of the trim (instead of 4" like suggested by the manufacturer) so that we have about 20" of rod on either side to give plenty of room for the curtains to stack without crowding the window too much. I wouldn't recommend doing 4" unless your window is very small. Very happy with this product, and will definitely be purchasing another one for our spare bedroom.

I Love these Umbra Twilight Double Curtain Rods! Yes, they Are worth the price! A Great wrap around design, clean and sleek with no screws visible from any angle, even before the curtains were added! They are very well made, sturdy, heavy duty rods which twist into the curved end pieces. These curved ends securely slide over the small wall-mounted brackets (make sure they are all level). The wall brackets are completely covered when the curved end pieces attach. I was thrilled to see how securely and easily it holds 2 layers of heavy insulated blackout curtains, coupled with the wrap around design, they created a100% blackout effect!!! (Bonus energy saving and better sleep!) The double rods were easy to assemble and install. (tools required). I love that the entire rod (curtains and all) can be lifted straight up off of the wall-mounted brackets to quickly change out curtains for different seasons, cleaning, etc. and just as simple to replace. For this project I ordered the brushed nickel finish in the 30-84 length and mounted them at 76 inches wide. (Sturdy center bracket is included, same sleek mount) So glad I took a chance on these! What a great find! ❤️ Superior Quality in a great design! ❤️

Nice, smooth curtain rod that's sturdy at the the maxed out width. Really pleased with the clean, simple look. Installation was fairly easy, though you have to make sure you account for enough space between the mounting plate and the ceiling to install the rod. Huge improvement over the cheap curtain rods that came with our house.

These were easier to install than I thought they would be! I bought 4 sets. They feel pretty sturdy - I have 4 light blocking 84in length, thick curtain panels and 4 shears hanging on them. My only caution is when using at the longest possible length - large glass sliding door flanked with windows- that one feels a little flimsy. I think I may be pushing the engineering limits on the rod but it's hanging in there. The others- not stretched out to the very limits- feel much more secure and not flimsy at all.

The curtain rod and mounts themselves look great, are very easy to assemble and are sturdy. Points deducted because the screws for the included drywall anchors are too big and don't allow the curtain rod to slide onto the mount, so I had to go out and buy smaller ones. You'd think if the hardware is included it would work, which was kind of annoying.

These were the Second Set Of Rods Ordered from this company in May 2025 ( The Initial set purchased in April were returned due to sizing/not found to be the issue until contractor came to install in May @ which I requested to have exchanged for proper size. Company refused to accept return. Amazon Help Notified & Assusted with Return @ which time I immediately returned with proper labeling AND REORDERED EXACT SIZING * (EXERCISE CARE WHEN ORDERING AS IF THE ITEM YOU REQUEST THE APPLICATION RESETS SIZE & color & sends wrong product size ) . I recalled contractor to install NEW SIZE RODS ! Rods were paid in full at time of Purchase ! All products paid in FULL AT TIME OF PURCHASE ! The rods themselves are PERFECT, GREAT QUALITY, FUNCTIONAL, SIZE. They Did Not Come In the Color I initially Wanted, however, I still Ordered Because I Wanted The Style Of The Rod ! Product seems to be of good quality, easily assembled ( however incorrect measurement, watch carefully when entering size & color as the choice clicks in & out quickly giving improper size to order when adding to cart, thus the order size my be different from initial size & color of item due to unavailability). Dealer would not refund or replace ( due to my extended over time of being on a Contractor/Handyman installer wait list. However I did contact Amazon assist with consumer services, was given option of return within a 7 day window for exchange of the necessary size I required. I did repurchase the item, due to the quality and style of the product ! Now wait list again for installtion by contractor Unable to order color of choice unavailable Update : BOTH OF TWO ROD SETS RETURNED AT EXACT SAME TIME TO UPS BY MY DAUGHTER WITHIN 2 DAYS OF REFUND REQUEST TO INSIDE UPS FACILITY WITH SPECIAL RETURN LABELS PROVIDED. NOW COMPANY STATING THEY DID NOT RECEIVE BOTH, ONLY ONE !!! " This is unconscionable " THE COMPANY SHOULD CHECK WITH UPS ! I even repurchased 2 Sets of 44-88 & paid in full with the Good Faith my REFUND WOULD BE ACCREDITED, HOWEVER THIS COMPANY SENT TEXT STATING ONLY ONE WAS RECEIVED. WILL NOT REFUND UNTIL 2ND is RECEIVED🤬 BOTH SETS WERE MOST ASSUREDLY RETURNED TOGETHER AT EXACT TIME. Die Stangen selbst waren robust und gut verarbeitet, wir haben sie direkt 2x bestellt. Geliefert werden 3 unterschiedlich dicke Stangen die ineinander gesteckt werden. Bei einem Paket war leider eine falsche Stange enthalten, sodass man sie nicht zusammen stecken konnte, deswegen gingen beide zurück. Wir wollten ursprünglich diese Stangen für unsere Trapezfenster nutzen, das passte dann aber optisch leider auch nicht so wie gedacht. Bei einem normalen Fenster hätte ich sie aber gerne verwendet, von der Qualität und Aussehen her kann man da nicht meckern.

Estoy contento con estos cortineros, la instalación es bastante fácil, sólo que yo me equivoqué al elegir el tamaño y compré los más grandes y tuve que cortar uno de los tubos porque la medida mínma que tienen superaba por mucho el ancho de mis ventanas. Otra cosa que no consideré hasta que los instalé fue que requieren de cierta altura puesto que primero se instalan unas placas en la pared pero luego los cortineros se colocan deslizándolos desde arriba, por lo anterior hay que considerar ese libramiento, en mi caso fue una complicación puesto que las ventanas de mi casa llegan al techo. Por lo demás están muy bien. Buena calidad de materiales y buenos acabados.

The rods are very practical and the design makes it easy to darken the room. I use them both with eyelet curtains and with separately bought curtain rings and hooks for pleated curtains. They are easy to fit, just be carful if you have a coving close above, as they need to be slid from the top onto the fixings.
