Top notch and worth the investment
This is a battery powered Dremel drill on steroids. Usual build quality however this model uses a BLDC motor and not the older brushed motor. Better motor control and efficiency. This is really nice and I recommend this product. I had the older battery powered drill and this is a great upgrade.

Handy to have in the kit bag
Outstanding bit of kit, really useful for dozens of small, inaccessible and tricky jobs, but you need to buy the Dremel mini chuck to get full use. Carry bag is underwhelming but does the job.

Have a few uses stacked up before buying, it’s nice but you pay for quality.
It’s expensive but you do get a fair bit for the money, it can do a variety of things, it’s pretty bad with the router attachment though, probably only use it for like small areas that a big router can’t access. High quality tool. I love the case.

All round (& hands down) simply better than the corded version, and very enjoyable.
It’s already my go-to tool for small jobs: at least as good as a corded Dremel but untied from the mains. Comes with two batteries and a charger so no need to run out of juice, but just in case, it’s worth noting that standard Bosch 12v batteries fit, too. Not managed to trigger any thermal cut-out yet (which is more than I can say for the mains version). Thoroughly enjoying it.

Robust & Quality Product
It works well. However a bit disappointed on battery usage time. 22 mins for light usage and 11 mins for heavy usage! Durability is yet to be tested. Not too heavy. Fit for many applications.

You Get What You Pay For And Wow. What a great bit of kit
As an owner of a Dremel for a number of years now, when my trusty old 3000 finally gave up the ghost, i decided it was time to upgrade to this 8260. What actually swung the deal for me was'nt just the 2 3Ah batteries & the nice looking case but the reliability & sturdiness of the name DREMEL. Once i'd charged the batteries, the first job i did was to cut down some M4 machine screws which were too long. The gentle start up of the 8260 was amazing & the contour of the body made it almost pleasurable to hold. The cut off disc went through the thread with very little fuss & almost no sparks. So i'm over the moon with it so far. :-) Certainly worth the money & i highly recommend this tool :-)
