Perfect tv for a living room
We wanted a tv that would blend in with our living room and the frame tv fits perfectly. We love the art that can be displayed when not watching tv; if you squint just a bit, it really seems like you’re looking at a framed print, not a tv. The set comes with its own mount and our adult son had no problems in setting it up. To complete the sense of a picture frame, he cut a hole in the drywall behind the tv and one behind the piece of furniture on which her placed the box that connects with the tv. So no cables are visible between the frame and the box ( all cables including the HDMI and sound bar cable go into the box instead of the tv) Picture quality is good and the Samsung remote works well. At $400 off list price through Prime Days, we’re thrilled with this set. Update: After about one month, our frame television has stopped working--it repeatedly shuts off or goes into a continuing on-screen loop. Samsung uses a third party to deal with repairs, but after I talked to a rep there and sent a requested photo of my unit, I received an email saying they had to escalate the issue back to Samsung and it might be up to 10 days before I hear from them. It's 5 days now and no word from Samsung. Given we're only had the unit for 4 weeks, I'll expect Samsung to exchange it for a new unit or offer a full refund. I'll update this post when the issue is resolved.

Possibly the Worst purchase I've made
This is easily the worst TV, yet the most expensive TV, I've ever purchased. I really wanted this tv because I hate the look of TVs in the house. I liked the idea that this could look like a piece of artwork. This TV turns on and off randomly. It is so frustrating. I tried all the troubleshooting steps. I contacted Samsung support. The representative went through all the troubleshooting steps and settings and couldn't find anything wrong. They accessed the TV remotely and observed it for several days so that they could observe the issue. I was told that I'd get a phone call with the results. I never got the call and had to reach back out to Samsung. At that point I was told that they couldn't find the source of the issue and a technician would have to come out. I was told that the TV was no longer under warranty. I have had the TV for less than a year. After a lot of back and forth and sending my receipt, they did confirm that I only had the TV a few months. I am now waiting for a technician to come out. In addition to this problem, the tv screen goes dark randomly. Sometimes when I turn the tv on, it takes a few minutes for the TV to get bright. I really dislike the interface. It isn't as intuitive as other Samsung products. Overall, I am super disappointed with this purchase.

Definitely worth it.
This is the second frame tv I bought, as the first one my daughter was installing the mount and ended up dropping it, so I bought another and simply love it. I do get most of my artwork from Etsy as to subscribe to Samsung's art work is a bit pricey, but overall truly love the sleekness, solar remote, and the ease of use.

Great TV
This TV is amazing! We have loved adding a little art to our walls and having a TV all at the same time!! The picture and sound quality are great. The layout is beautiful and it is very user friendly. It comes with a slim remote that is powered by solar, we love that as well. The only down fall is sometimes it will randomly turn on when we are not using it, sometime we will wake up to it on. I would buy this again and recommend it to all my friends!

Pretty tv with irritating settings
When my husband and I redid our living room, we added a second window to make our wall more symmetrical for a wall-mounted tv. I didn’t want any wall-mounted tv, I wanted the frame. My room is bright with clean lines and I didn’t want to look at a tv on the wall. I purchased the white frame for this separately (which I think should be included) and when my fireplace was installed, my husband overheard the workers debating whether or not it was a tv. While I’m impressed with its size and slim profile, I did have higher hopes that the pictures would look more like paintings/prints and less like a picture on a screen. Maybe I still need to play with the settings more, but it definitely looks like a digital display. Speaking of settings, the smart things app could be more intuitive in many ways. I’d love the option to save picture folders by season so that before Halloween, I could select that folder and have it set to rotate through those pictures over the course of a month. The only work around I’ve found is by making a favorites folder of seasonal pictures and then unfavoriting them before the next season. I like the option of adding a matte to a picture, but wish that there were more colors to choose from. When it comes to the tv itself, I’m super irritated by the Home Screen and can’t stand that no matter what settings I change, I can’t get it to stop auto playing Samsung tv plus. I wish there was a way to remove it from recently played without deleting the app. It seems as though there’s always a fake fireplace that pops up and goes full screen all on its own. After lots of attempts, I think I finally got the screen mirroring to stop mirroring with a picture and picture of some app that I didn’t even select. It definitely has a mind of its own with the Samsung tv plus app. After lots of research, the only work around that I have read about it to delete the whole app, but I’d still like to access it sometimes. I also don’t like the microphone function on the remote. Each time I try to speak into it and search for something, it brings up an Alexa sign in. I refuse to link it with Alexa, because our ring camera somehow got linked to the tv and it was constantly popping up on its own and sometimes wouldn’t even load the camera. It was a huge hassle to figure out how to unintegrate them. The remote could also be better. I’m always inadvertently muting the volume when I try to change it since it’s all part of the same switch. Buttons present for Netflix, Disney plus, prime video and Samsung tv plus aren’t very useful since I often use other apps. There have been 2 instances so far when it did not work as intended. At one point, my husband had to reach out to customer support since the volume wasn’t working and a reset was done. Unfortunately, this reset all of my pictures, matte and size settings and it was a lot of work to redo. Last week it was being super delayed and weird- skipping over icons and being unresponsive when trying to open apps. Since then, I’ve been trying to power it off every night and not rely on its power saving functions. I still haven’t figured out what went wrong. We’ve also connected it via lan since we felt like the wifi wasn’t being fast enough compared to the speed tests we were doing on our phones. Overall it’s a good tv with irritating settings. I’m not sure that the price is worth it…I guess you’re just paying for something that looks nice on the wall and not so much for the features.

Highly Recommend
Best TV you can buy. If you don't like the look of a TV on the wall and you would rather it look like a painting, this is the best solution. The frames are sold separately and are expensive but it is worth it. Thousands of art you can choose from for your screensaver. (also purchased separately via subscription).

Bad product - remote is worthless
Will never buy this TV again or any other Samsung product because of the Customer Service. The TV is so slow, then ours will always jump back to a different source after a few minutes - so you have to always select what you want twice. The remote was always awful - we had to stand up and get closer to the TV to make it work. Still that required clicking several times before anything happened. Now at 1 year and 45 days the remote has completely stopped working. There is a phone app remote but no way to install if you don’t have a functioning remote. I spent hours on the phone with customer service to be told the solution was I could purchase a new $100 remote because we were not in the 12 month warranty. This was after the chat conveniently closed several times when I asked to escalate the issue. Even after wasting a huge amount of my time, a coupon code for the new remote wasn’t even offered. So much run around!

Truly stunning!
I didn’t use the included wall mount—it’s designed to sit flush against the wall and I have the Philips hue light strip so I did mount it using a mount that gives me some more mounting options. In terms of picture I went from my 45” 1080p tv from 2009 to this amazing beast! My old tv was fine…the video quality was kind of like a late 90s movie. That said, watching video on this tv is much closer to watching people in real life—the refresh rate is snappy and the sharpness of the picture is dumbfoundingly crisp! I feel like I’m existing in the movies and tv shows I’m watching…honestly! Now the only qualm I have is the turn of the tv have it look like art feature: you have to pay for most of it and it’s quite pricey. Like if you do one off purchases it’s around $20 each…the quality of my own images doesn’t really work with the aspect ratio so I get letterboxing and it ruins the look. I found a free piece that was fine but honestly, the feature is weird with my hue strip anyway. I have it set up to turn on the light strip at the same time as my tv but since I’m usually going to bed after tv it’s largely irrelevant. Cool for when guests visit though.
