The SVBONY CLS EOS-C Clip-on Filter is a precision-engineered optical accessory designed to dramatically reduce urban light pollution for Canon EOS DSLR astrophotography. Featuring advanced ion-assisted coatings and a planetary rotation system for uniform transmission, it blocks 99.9% of artificial light wavelengths while allowing 90% of key nebula emissions to pass through. Its ultra-thin, CNC-machined aerometal frame minimizes vignetting and reflections, delivering enhanced contrast and detail in sub-rural and urban skies. Compatible with a wide range of Canon EOS cameras, this filter transforms challenging light-polluted environments into stunning celestial viewing experiences.

Works great, I used to to take this picture of orion nebula from my bortle 8 backyard

Bortle 9+ skies. Neighborhood: Oak Cliff. Just outside of Downtown Dallas Texas. The worst possible place to view the stars in my opinion. Equipment: Orion XT6i doing visual astronomy. We couldn't see much in all honesty, Because the sky was like looking at the stars through an empty plastic milk jug. After viewing the Orion Nebula for a few minutes, I remembered having my CLS Filter. Screwed it on and it made substantial difference! The Orion Nebula had a lot more contrast and detail. It was visibility much more enjoyable to observe. After that we looked at a few double stars and Pleiades which looked nice. Can't comment on Astrophotography, but for visual viewing, in the described sky, it made our night go from "hohum" to "Oh wow! Look at that!"
