Titan 63164 4lb Dead Blow Hammer with Steel Shot Filled Head, Spark & Rebound Resistant, 14.25" Non-slip Diamond Textured Handle

Bought this for my brother who is a mechanic. He said it works great.

These hammers work great, from smacking Miata suspension components or knocking Frontier parts apart to other various tasks around the garage they have not let me down yet.

My boys use this to hammer tent stakes in. They are 4 and 6 and now able to put up the tent by themselves. Quality mallet, no complaints. Has already been out on a few camping trips. I expect this to last.

It's a good mallet. Since the prices were similar I opted for the 4lb instead of a smaller one -- it's oversized for most things I would need it for --If I were buying again I'd go for the 2lb-er -- but there's nothing wrong with it

Works like beast for locking parts into the mill. It’s ruined me to all other dead blow hammers. I bought it by mistake not knowing it was so big and now I can’t go back to normal 2 lb hammers, they feel like I’m holding air.
