Great All-In-One Kitchen Appliance, Use Ferment Setting for Bread Baking!
So far I've used the convection oven, air fry, and ferment settings. I was extremely surprised at how quickly the oven heats up but how it doesn't heat up the whole kitchen! Some of the settings you don't need to use the pre-heat option which I like better since I'm an impatient cook and I just like to throw something in without pre-heating. If you're a fan of pre-heat, the conv. bake and steam setting has both a pre-heat and cooking without pre-heat option as well. Overall, the oven is extremely versatile and caters to the different needs of who is cooking with it's varied settings, which is hard to find in an appliance. I used the ferment option for bread baking actually, since the ferment setting is low temperature, I was able to put the metal bowl I was setting my bread in and let it rise for 30 min in the perfect temperature! If you are a bread baker, this is an amazing tool to use! My bread came out perfectly and the ferment option sped up the bread baking process exponentially by letting the dough rise in an ideal temperature. After using ferment, I used conv. bake to finish the bread and they were done in less than 15 minutes. The oven itself is small, but with the two tiered trays, it's quite easy to make a larger serving of whatever you're making for the family. This oven will not give you 24 baked cookies in one go like a traditional oven, but it's great for small batch baking, meats, vegetables, breads, steaming frozen foods (like Chinese bao and dumplings), sanitizing utensils and baby bottles, and it even has it's own cleaning setting. This oven is a great find and It will be my staple appliance for the kitchen from now on.

Exorbitant price - Mediocre Product.
This is one of the most expensive products of its class, yet is extremely disappointing product that does not meet its retail price. It is one of a very few multifunctional ovens that offer a steaming function that, and the exorbitant price tag are what set it apart and attracted me to purchase it. You must wait 7 minutes for the unit to preheat just to cook most things. Theb air frying feature lacks a temperature setting as well, you can only set the duration. The interaction controls are inefficient and obsolete considering all the engineering options that are currently available. For the price I expected at least some level of touch interaction. The only way to interact with the settings is to cycle through each one with arrow buttons - very disappointing considering this product is one of the most expensive on the market I expected a more refined method of input. My unit cooked the food unevenly anything towards the back of the oven would be less cooked than anything towards the front door of the oven which of course is once again unacceptable considering the price of the unit. The uncoated aluminum interior will easily bake in stains and scratches the soft aluminum with minimal effort using the finest of scrubbers. Another disappointing feature is the lighting the lighting is located on the very top of the unit it is very dull and only illuminates the top portion of the unit if the bottom shelf is utilized the entire bottom portion will be in darkness It's quite possibly one of the most irritating parts of the design once again at the price point that they said I would have expected that when it lights up the interior you should be able to see everything clearly.

Water pump issue in less than 2 years
I bought this oven mainly for the steaming function to cook or re-heat food. We regularly used the cleaning function. However, the water pump stopped working within 2 years of purchase. According to the authorized repair service company, it would cost $190 to replace the pump. We decided not to fix it and will look for other alternative ovens. Very disappointed that Panasonic's product would stop functioning in such a short time.

This product replaces all other appliances
I had been searching the market for a multi-use oven -- well search no more!! I have found it all in the Panasonic 7-in-1 Oven!! I am now able to get rid of so many other appliances that were just taking up space on my countertop. I love the style and the footprint is the perfect size for my kitchen. The air fry is my personal favorite - plus the slow cooking makes my meal planning so easy! I love the quick and easy use of steaming my vegetables too. It is awesome that there is a convection bake function which is extremely useful. This is better than I thought it would be and definitely worth the purchase.

Panasonic Home Chef
It works well for steaming which is my prime use for the product. And the steam-convection is outstanding. However, the tray that also holds the water container, which slides into the base of the oven, is prone to not connecting. It will seem like it's fitted properly, but pretty quickly the machine generates an error code and you find that all of the water that was in the container is now in the tray, and you have to start all over again. Otherwise, when it's working, it's excellent.

DO NOT recommend for any home chefs or more serious cooks
Was so excited for this oven because of the steam cooking feature and other functions. I tested this product with a friend of mine who was the owner/head chef of a Michelin star restaurant for over 20 years. We are always excited to try new products like this. We cooked several different types of dishes to really test this mini oven out. First major issue is that it was never able to reach it's max temp of 445. It couldn't even reach 400. The highest we were able to reach was 375. The steam function and steam convection leaves much to be desired. It is nothing like other options on the market that are more expensive. The low price should have been a red flag that this product would not perform well. For amateur home cooks, it is probably fine. But if you really like to cook or cook a lot, I cannot recommend this product. Look at other options such as Anova.

Small but mighty - worth the investment
This has made my favorite recipes easier, healthier, and tastier! I use this more than my oven now. The air fry setting made my falafel balls more crispy than my oven ever could. I love the versatility of the features. The temperature control when baking is easy to use too. It's pretty easy to set up - I had a little trouble getting the humidity tray in, but it was just stuck with friction on my countertop. A little lifting/wiggling and it popped in. It's very easy to clean - I havent had crumbs fall on the inside yet, so all I've really had to clean are the trays and empty the humidity tray after use. But it's small and easy to wipe out any spills or crumbs. Large enough to cook a full meal of big items for 1-2 people, or approximately 16 cookies or small appetizers. I made 24 air fried falafel balls.
