Absurdly Convenient!
Y’all, get this. It is a game changer if you’re weird about textures. I’m about to ramble on for a minute about a different box, so skip ahead if you want.I was SO excited when I heard about disposable litter boxes.Heck yeah! Sign me up for KittyPooClub! And then. And THEN, I got to deal with the aftermath. My darlings, let me be frank- it was just so INCREDIBLY icky. The box was giant (nice, right?) except that made it very unwieldy- especially if you have little stubby t-Rex arms like I do. I’m 5’1 on a good day. So when it was time to swap out the old box for the new, eesh. Ickyickyicky. The texture of small, probably disgusting granules dumping all over me in the way to the dumpster, well… [shudder]But you know what? At LEAST I didn’t have to scrub the box, right??So here’s the dealio, my darlings- it got too pricey. I thought okay, well MAYBE Amazon has something that won’t make me contemplate bank robbery as a means of supporting my fluffybutts’s bougie taste.So. After reading (a normal, definitely not OCD amount of) of reviews, I gave this one a shot.My babes- I just swapped it out for the first time, and yes I had to go back to the seller’s post to figure out how, BUT: it folds in a way that A- doesn’t shower me with grossness and regrets, and B- it folds neatly and in QUARTERS, so it keeps itself together!I really wish I’d taken a pic of the folded up box, it was truly one of those beautiful feats of ingenuity that you can’t ignore. Because, yes, obviously that’s how it should always be.And I didn’t think about it bc I’ve never had issues with my old brand- no, this doesn’t leak. It doesn’t make my carpet smell funky.I will say, and this is probably a con for peeps with normal length arms- the box is smaller. It needs to be cleaned slightly more often. But: not a terribly noticeable amount.TL;DRGive this a try. It’s worth $25 bucks to try a step away from the bougie brand(s).And no, thank you, I do NOT normally wax poetic about litter. Seriously. That’s super weird, and I’m aware.Totally worth coming off as geeky in a super weird way.Doooo ittttt! Bring yourself some joy.

Avoid cleaning plastic litter pans, the worst chore in the house
I will never go back to regular plastic pans. Where can you wash them? I don't want all that yuck in the slop sink, and I don't want to touch that dirty litter pan. Gross!! The disposable litter boxes are quite durable and last much longer than I thought they would. They are also much lighter to carry, and whether or not you fold them up, they will go into a standard tall kitchen bag. Unfolded they take up a lot of space in the garbage can, and folded they take up half as much space. However, you won't have to discard it very often. If you have several litter boxes they will stay dry and will last a long time. We don't even have to put ours into the trash because our land is heavily wooded, so oftentimes I just take them out there and let it all compost. Maybe next summer I will pay someone to dig a big hole for them, and put the dirt back over it. Amazingly the flies do not come around much because the kitty litter has already dried up the poop and pee. If flies were a problem I would put the disposable boxes into compostable bags. By the time the bags decompose the contents will have composted. PS Because the disposable boxes are not as strong as plastic, I use lightweight kitty litter as an extra precaution, and empty them daily. Jugs of lightweight kitty litter also help to protect your back!

Best travel disposable litterbox
Had to transport my pets during moving 1,000 miles and staying in pet friendly hotels..I had my doubts until I set 1 up for my cat, it didn't leak urine and it was used for several days. My cat is the type to step into the box and not squat but let his urine fly..this box is ultra easy to set up and large enough for the messy box users, deep enough to satisfy the cat that loves to dig and hold the litter in! No mess in the hotel rooms but I did place a paper barrier between the floor and litter box for the" just in case mess", didn't need it..the disposal was easy peasy and didn't feel bad about a recyclable box going too. Thankyou these are more usable for my pet travel needs than any other dispoable box.

Here because Nature's Miracle discontinued their jumbo boxes? Yeah, me too -- get these.
I've legit gone through just about every disposable litter box system available here and on Chewy looking for an adequate replacement for the Nature's Miracle jumbo boxes -- ones that wouldn't demolish easily, with higher siding (one of my cats stands as she pees), that clean easily (and last at least 2-3 weeks) and hold a useful amount of litter. These fit the bill.Others were too shallow or too small, and I was hesitant to use these at first because they're buildable and I was worried litter and cat waste would leak through the seams. This is a total non-issue. Utterly. Surprisingly so.These boxes clean well -- the interior of the cardboard has been treated to be resistant to liquids, and scooping litter out of these isn't much of a process at all (which was the biggest issue with the NM jumbos, thick and durable, but wet waste clung and ripped up layers of the thick boxes). Their durability has been solid -- 3 weeks no problems, can stretch it to 4 if well and regularly cleaned. I have one cat who really likes tearing at the edges of the boxes and these have survived long enough.Their "fold it up and throw it away" feature only works if your litter line is a good 1/4-1/2" below the designated line, but it does work.Biggest complaint is the price, I use three for two cats and I wish they were just a bit more affordable, especially since they're not quite as big as the jumbos they've been bought to replace, but it's a soft complaint. Happy I've finally come across these guys. I'm praying, especially since there's no subscribe and save option, that Amazon continues to keep them available for purchase.
