Tight Grip for Those Hard to Reach Coins, Screws, Clogs, etc.
Great for clearing out a clogged sink to picking up a coin stuck behind the clothes washer and everything in between. My dad bought something just like it over 40 years ago. Still works.

A Reliable Helper for Everyday Tasks – Flexible Grabber Claw Review
When it comes to tools designed to simplify the mundane (or slightly unpleasant) chores of daily life, the Flexible Grabber Claw Pick Up Reacher Tool falls squarely into the “functional, but not revolutionary” category. As someone who’s tested my fair share of grabber tools, I’ll be candid: this one is exactly what you’d expect for its price point—well-made, dependable, and effective for its intended purpose, but lacking the kind of innovation that would make me do a double-take or rush to recommend it to everyone I know. The Good: Let’s start with the positives. At 63 inches long, this tool offers a solid reach, making it ideal for picking up litter from sidewalks, retrieving dropped items from tricky spots, or clearing hair from drains and toilets. The four-claw design grips items firmly (think bottle caps, small toys, or stubborn clogs) without feeling flimsy. The bendable hose adds a nice touch of flexibility, allowing you to maneuver the claw into awkward angles. I appreciated how smoothly the hinge moved and how sturdy the plastic felt—no noticeable wobble or cheapness in the construction. For the price, it’s clear this tool was designed with practicality in mind. The Neutral: Where this product falls into my “four-star” territory is in its execution. It does everything it promises, and it does so competently. However, there’s nothing here that shakes up the market or redefines what a grabber tool can do. The design is familiar—similar to other tools I’ve used—and while the claw’s grip is adequate, I’ve seen competitors with slightly more robust mechanisms that handle larger or heavier objects. That said, if you’re looking for something no-frills and budget-friendly, this fits the bill. The Caveats: If you’re hoping for a game-changer or a tool that feels notably more advanced than your average junk drawer staple, this won’t blow your mind. The build quality is good, but nothing exceptional (think “durable for casual use” rather than “built to last a decade”). Additionally, while the tool excels at small pickups, it’s not suited for heavier tasks or larger items—it’s a helper, not a heavy-duty solution. Verdict: In the grand scheme of household tools, the Flexible Grabber Claw isn’t a groundbreaking invention. But it’s also not supposed to be. It’s a polished, no-fuss tool that gets the job done where it matters most: picking up hair from your shower drain, grabbing a dropped earring, or cleaning up after a picnic. At its price point, it’s a solid buy for anyone who wants a reliable, if unexciting, addition to their cleaning arsenal. Four stars, because it works as intended and feels worth the cost—but don’t expect it to rewrite the rules of convenience anytime soon.

it worked, even on shower drain with metal in the middle (not a completely open hole)
it worked, even on weird shower drain with metal in the middle (not a completely open hole) am witing this in case someone is wondering if this will work and looks thru reviews, as i did. after a few days in a row of realizing my shower was filling up with a few inches of water every time i showered (even though we use a hair catcher every time we shower), i realized there must be something stuck down the drain. we have a bigger, more expensive snake, that we've used on the sink (which is an unobstructed hole, once you pull the plug thingie out) - but it turns out that snake won't fit in the shower drain, bc the shower drain has a weird metal configuration that splits up the hole. my husband found this snake and i said i dont think it's gonna fit - but we ordered it and it worked! he got the 35" one and at first he didnt fish out anything, but it turned out he had to put the snake in at an angle to finally get it to pull out something, and after trying over and over again, he did take out some clumps, sometimes getting a little, sometimes getting nothing, but kept kept trying and trying and sometimes getting stuff, and now the water goes down smoothly. afterwards i also tried the baking soda and white vinegar hack ive seen online, but definitely did this first, and i saw with my own eyes all the gunk that came out. so i recommend this for weird drains. i think u just keep it so that the claw isnt deployed when going down the drain, then you deploy the claw once the snake is inside the drain (my husband did it, not me.)
