desertcart.com: Sol de Janeiro Collagen Boosting Beija Flor Elasti-Cream Body Cream 240mL/8.1 oz. : Beauty & Personal Care Review: Sol de Janeiro Beija Flor cream with cacay oil and plant collagen. - I really love when Sol de Janeiro makes the collectible jumbo creams with vivid limited edition designs (and the little surfboard scoop). I always buy the ones with bird designs on them, and Beija Flor always has a hummingbird motif, which I love. The Biggie Biggie size is a fantastic value, especially if you get it during one of the frequent sales or with a coupon on desertcart. Beija Flor is the same scent as Cheirosa 68, which is a dreamy, tropical, pink, fruity-floral and creamy vanilla with undertones of brisk ocean air that's crisp and mineral. It really makes me feel like I'm on a beach in a tropical location, lounging near tropical flowers and fruit trees, listening to the crashing of ocean waves. Some people say that this smells like Baccarat Rouge 540, but I really dislike BR540 and love Beija Flor, so I don't really get the comparison. They don't even share any of the same notes, except for jasmine. The texture of this cream is thick, but it smooths over skin easily and is deeply moisturizing. It's not super oily or heavy, so I can get dressed a few minutes after applying, though the scent still transfers everywhere. I wish that Sol de Janeiro made body butters with half the concentration of fragrance. As much as I love Cheirosa 68, the fragrance gets really overwhelming when it's applied over your entire body, and it'll last 24 hours with noticeable sillage before I shower it off. The fragrance in the body creams is stronger than in the matching body mists. On days when my head is hurting, I can't use this at all because the scent gets so overpowering. And that's a shame because I really love the formula of the body butter itself. It has cacay oil (a gentle retinol alternative) and plant collagen, which are great for maintaining elasticity and tone over time, along with lots of butters and oils that manage to not feel heavy or greasy. I just have to be in the mood for the strong fragrance to stay with me until I wash it off. Review: Stretchy, Scented Skincare That Actually Feels Nice - Sol de Janeiro’s Collagen Boosting Beija Flor cream feels rich without being greasy and sinks into skin with a smooth, springy finish. The scent is delightfully tropical (in that signature Sol de Janeiro way), and my skin has never felt more hydrated or bouncy. Great daily body cream that makes moisturizing feel like a mini spa moment.

Makes my skin soooo soft, and smells amazing!
This stuff is amazing! The first time I put it on, I was unsure. It smells amazing, but it doesn't have that "lotiony" feel to it, so I didn't think it would provide that much moisture. Wrong! I have observed a noticeable change in how my skins feels, and I LOVE that it doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy or tacky. A little bit of this goes a long way, but being pregnant right now, I do apply it pretty generously over my belly when I get out of the shower, and the moisture and softness truly lasts until my next shower. It is definitely on the pricey side, but like they say....you get what you pay for. I don't typically spend this much money on products, but this jar will last for a long time and was well worth the splurge!

High Quality
The Sol de Janeiro body cream is absolutely amazing! It has a rich, silky texture that absorbs quickly without feeling greasy, leaving my skin soft and deeply moisturized. The scent is incredible—warm, tropical, and long-lasting, like a mix of caramel and pistachio that lingers all day. A little goes a long way, and the glow it gives my skin is beautiful. It’s definitely a luxurious treat that makes my skincare routine feel special every time I use it.

A Lush, Skin-Loving Splurge 🌸💸
Hey beauties! Let's dive into the world of luxurious skin pampering with SOL DE JANEIRO's Collagen Boosting Beija Flor Elasti-Cream. Spoiler alert: it's like a tropical vacation in a jar! First things first, the packaging is absolutely adorable. The easy-to-use container is dressed in the prettiest shade of pink, adding a pop of color to my skincare collection. It's like holding a little piece of summer in your hands all year round. Now, let's talk about the scent – because, let's face it, we all want to smell fabulous. This cream has a light tropical flower scent that's totally divine. It's not too heavy or overpowering, making it perfect for those who prefer a subtler fragrance. I'm absolutely in love with it! For my fellow gluten-sensitive gals, rejoice! This cream is gluten-free. Plus, it's cruelty-free and vegan-friendly, making it a guilt-free choice for those who are conscious about their product choices. However, there's always a 'but,' isn't there? While this cream feels gentler on my super dry hands, I do wish it had less alcohol in its formulation, especially considering the price tag. Speaking of which, at $48.00 for a 240ml jar, it's definitely on the pricier side. To put it in perspective, Chanel and Miss Dior body lotions come in at about $65 for a 200ml bottle. So, while the SOL DE JANEIRO cream isn't as steep some of the popular lux brands, it's still a splurge. The Beija Flor Elasti-Cream from SOL DE JANEIRO is a luxurious treat for the skin. It's perfect for those who love a light, floral scent and are looking for a skincare product that's both gluten-free and cruelty-free. Just be prepared to treat it as a little splurge! 💸💕

Best Body Butter I have ever used!
I had the bum bum cream which was PERFECT for summer- when I wanted a long lasting body butter that had a fragrance unlike any other for after a shower ( dry skin all year but especially winter) I went to their website and was met with SO many choices, but i kept going back to that pink Beija Flor, fragrance #68. I’m SO glad I did!! It smells floral, but with so many other notes! The thick butter covered every inch and that was just from the the lid!! This brand is fantastic and the smell is not a seasonal thing- it’s gorgeous and so worth every penny that I got it from Amazon. So happy with this purchase I just had to write this review! Hope it helps anyone else that has so many choices and wants that special blend that’s amazing!

Absolutely love this cream, yes it’s expensive but it smells amazing and lasts for over 24hrs. You don’t need loads, it makes my skin feel soft and moisturised. It’s indulgent but fabulous

The best body butter cream out there. I don’t care what anyone else says!!!!! It’s silky and melts into skin, and the smell is literally heaven! The smell stays in place all day and people always ask what lotion it is! Will definitely be getting more. Buy it you won’t regret it!
