Plastic if you put in liquid is pour out on to floor. I wish I didn’t buy this really small. The sticker on outside was really hard to get off. I would buy one that is fully metal.

It's a nice small trash can. Brushed stainless steel. Medium thickness but can be dented if not packaged well for shipping.
