Le Creuset Stoneware Large Multi Bowl, 3.1 qt., Cerise

With having a few Caribbean colored Le Creuset pieces, I had to snatch this multi-bowl up. Especially since it was on sale! It’s the perfect size to mix a dozen or so eggs, batches of pancake batter, marinades, etc. & great for serving salads, potatoes, vegetables or just about any side dishes. It’s definitely larger than I expected, but in a good way. The bowl has some weight to it, but not super-heavy, the side walls are thinner than I thought it would, but should be pretty durable. The color is great, I haven’t used it yet so I don’t know if the white interior glazed surface will discolor. The description states it resists staining or scratches. I like the fact that the bowl is safe to keep warm in the oven, to use in the microwave, broiler (not that I would) and is dishwasher safe.

My wife just got into making her own sourdough bread and the bowls she had weren’t that good - so I did a little research and this bowl is used by a lot of bakers - she loves it and a good price to boot.

Perfectly sized salad bowl/serving bowl! The weight is nice, looks super classic, and the quality is to be expected of Le!

My daughter loves this set of stoneware. Little by little I am filling her kitchen with Le Creuset Stoneware. Thanks for such a great product.

The bowl is beautiful but the shipping was unacceptable. Delivered only in bubble wrap and completely broken. Amazon has tried to censor my previous review and this is my edit at their request. Hopefully this gets published and someone else can buy this product elsewhere.

Beautiful bowl and wonderful for many purposes.

Another great piece to add to my collection. The serving bowl is exactly the right size to serve dinner guests or to place on the counter. As all of my other Le Creuset items arrived broken, I canceled the Cerise bowl I had on order, and it was too late to cancel this order. Thankfully this one arrived in perfect condition, although the packing was questionable. I now have two in Caribbean (and one Cerise) as I preemptively replaced this bowl in person at Macy’s, and picked up the beautiful Cerise version. I love my new collection! Regardless of where you order Le Creuset online, even directly, it appears they all ship with little to no packaging material.

I love the Cerise color. They need to add more bubbles or styrofoam in the box for better support when shipping this item. Other than that I love the bowl. Great company to purchase from.

The bowl did not come with the original box and it was just wrapped with the bubble paper. I wondered whether it was a returned or resale item.
