These pads work great on a BMW E90 and E71. Excellent fit. Just tight enough to stay in place while I raise the jack, but not so tight that it's hard to put in place. The only drawback versus rubber ones (that I can think of) is a piece of wood or rubber is needed on the jack, but most jacks have a rubber pad. These aluminum pads will last my lifetime and possibly my kids also, whereas rubber would probably only last a season or two of home mechanicing (and that's the good ones). I've also used them with 2x4 DIY wheel cribs on a sloped driveway with great results. Another great feature of these pads is the price. These are less than half the price of other metal pads. The material is very durable. It is very hard to scratch or deform, so I'm guessing it is made from aircraft-type grade aluminum.

I was looking for a specific pad due to my 2019 Mini Cooper S did not come with a jack for the car, and the manufacturer installed a jack port that requires a specific style head. I had jacked my car with a regular scissor jack, although I did get the job done, I had minorly damaged the jack port installed on my car. I used the Amazon filter to sort out the fitness of the parts, and this was one of the parts that said it wasn't going to fit; but it did and it is a perfect fit for the jack port. Do I can confidently use it without worry of damage to the jack ports installed on my car.

Just for floor jacks with flat foot. Not for jack stands. Seems good, Not really grippy. Just crisscrossed slots in aluminum. Solid aluminum sturdy

If you're trying to lift your BMW i3, but you've heard all the warnings about NOT lifting it unless you have "special pads", these jack pads are what you're looking for. They are somewhat small, especially compared to the rubber pad I typically use on my floor jack, but I just placed these special pads onto of the rubber pad to help keep it in place. I was initially cautious about them being solid metal, rather than rubber, but the car lifted without any issues of cracking or damage, they do exactly what they were designed to do.
