This is an excellent product compared to other sodium hydroxide products I have used. It dispenses easily from the container, avoiding unwanted spillage and does a great job saponifying my oils for soap.

The best lye for soaping!

My wife makes all different types of soap and Lye aka sodium hydroxide is a basic, necessary ingredient. We used to get our lye from a couple of different big box stores, but this merchant offers the product at a very reasonable price and it's 100% pure lye crystals. Buying lye in larger quantities makes it much more affordable over time and we're very happy with this product.
