I ordered this in "good' condition from Amazon resale. The condition is accurate and I'm pleased with the product. It's quite simple, you put in a SIM card and the mini screen shows you the signal, network name and pin, number of users connected, and uptime. It can also display a QR code to easily join the network with a phone. I put in a Lyca mobile sim and it connected immediately and is providing fast internet access. It ran an automatic software update shortly after I started it up. It has a removable battery which is another plus. The size is pretty small, like folded flip phone, and it has a micro usb connector (would prefer USB C but still have quite a few micro cables around so not a deal breaker). This is exactly what I was looking for and would recommend this as a very basic 4g wifi hotspot that is very portable.

I was so excited when I received it, it's small, power consumption is only 0.1 amps, but, it keeps saying "No service", I tried with 4 different mobile carriers (that work on my other router without issue), But no luck. I took it to each of the 4 mobile carriers, some said it may need hotspot data, and I paid for it, but again, no luck. It is faulty or garbage. I bought Huawei router for $20 cheaper, it's similar in size and uses the same energy, worked great on all carriers. I don't recommend this router at all. yes, easy to set up, but not working.

This tenda 4G185 is great so far! Running it on T-Mobile data only line. Went with the 50gig plan and ended up they gave me 100gigs due to I been a customer for years for price of 50gigs. Also bought a T-Mobile sim off Amazon as well. Setup is simple as can be. Obviously gotta add another line. Seems faster than hotspot off my phone and runs my fire stick with no hiccups at all. I recommend this if looking for a mobile wifi easily. Update* over a year later n still going strong! Works just fine. Never shut it off, is on 24/7. Yeah a couple times,like 4 in over a year it shut off, but no complaints. As for ppl saying it doesn't work, they obviously have no clue to set up a sim card nor get a data only line.

Nice size and feel, but difficult to find a SIM card that will work. Got one (that said it will work) and was stuck on my trip without WIFI as SIM card would not work.

Tried to use with Orange Holiday Europe sim and was never able to get it to work. I followed the YouTube videos showing how to update the APN manually and still could not get the sim card to work. I put the sim into my phone and it started up no problem.

I have other products from them and this continues in that line of quality, affordability, durability, sleek design and of course, performance.

No function

It arrived as new but it was used before me (there was statistic of used data and it was above 160GB so it was used not for a short time. It is slow.. I went below network tower of 5G tower above 1GB speed.. I test this Mifi and it didn't pass 4Mbps and my mobile (was on 4G so the same band) got above 50Mbps. After all.. I didn't expect more than 150Mbps as advertised but at least 30 or 20 so I can use two devices at most to watch Netflix or YouTube at ease. Not worth it.. Don't waste your time. PS: The one star is for fast delivery.. 1 day to deliver.. Bravo.
