Cornucopia Fruit Wine Making Kit, Blush Pink Grapefruit Pinot Gris, 16.4 Pound Box

Following the suggestions in reviews for this and other wine kits, I upped the specific gravity of this kit with a little sugar. Out of the box the SG is pretty low, which will make you end up with a pretty low alcohol content. I believe I also added less water than instructed. My OG was 1.094. Before the F-pack I ended up at 0.994--about 13% ABV.I added the entire F-pack, but I think I should have reserved some of it, because it was a little too sweet. I added two bottles of plain pinot gris wine to help cut the sweetness a little. It is really quite tasty. It makes a great summertime sipping wine.

Actually, I don't like it all that much, but my wife, my neighbors and my friends all LOVE IT! I made it as a 5 gallon batch. It was ready to bottle fairly quick. My complaint is that it is too sweet and not enough alcohol. On this second attempt I shall again make it a 5 gallon batch, but may fortify it with some vodka or brandy to cut the sweetness a bit and give it a little punch.

Always a favorite in the summer months. I've made four of these kits and they never seem to last very long. The kit itself has corks, shrink tops and labels. I'm a red wine drinker but my wife and her friends love this wine.

This wine kit is amazing! They sent it and it arrived super fast! It comes with corks when most kits don't come with them. That's already saving you $10 on corks! I would recommend this. :)

We love love love this kit and every other cornucopia kit we have purchases. The only problem is they have not been in stock on a regular basis .

Wasnt sure about it when i purchased this wine kit but Im glad I did.After making wine and tasting it,I am very pleased with purchase. I am planning on ordering again,trying different types of wine offered at Amazon

The flavor is excellent, a surprise for everyone that hears the name. One guest at my home said "it is the best one yet". Would definitely make it again.

I like the wine kit. Have made it 3 times. It is easy to make and tastes great.
