hi bought for a friend just saw them works great on 275 gallon water tanks that fit into a steel cage for hauling water for a well i bought four two as spares they run two tanks bad area where she lives wells are going dry she has lost a few in travel and others the vent caps broke and fell into bottom of tanks not good these are listed as snap caps but srew right on to threads good caps for the price

I made mounted heat lamps onto these and put them on the dog house tote during winter to keep the dogs warm at night. They have worked great for 2 years.

I have one tote at a remote location, way up a gravel road, I have another that I put in my truck to transfer water to the other tote.. I use a pump to transfer the water.. I loosened up the lid to get rid of the vaccum created by the pump, then forgot to tighten the lid back on as I drove down the gravel road.. needless to say, the lid decided to make a break for it.. it got away and we never saw it again.. I had a plastic bag tied around the neck.. found these and viola, next day delivery, and problem fixed.. and even have an extra in case another decides to make a break for it..

I lost the lid off my tote, ordered these, so I have one to use and a spare. They fit, they seal the tote and they are bright red, so I'm less likely to lose it again. Lol
