I have tried upwards of a dozen different brands of tumeric - extracts, pills, with curcumin, black pepper extract, etc. Not only is this on the cheaper end of that spectrum, but for myself and my husband it is by far the most effective and has become our preferred brand. Yes, it tastes vile, but that is to be expected. Shake well, place dropper on the back of your tongue and swallow. We notice improvement within minutes. Be careful not to spill this on your clothing as it WILL stain! If you do, use Dawn dish detergent - the surfactant will help remove the stain though it usually takes me multiple applications and scrubbing to remove. Tumeric has a number of health benefits - namely reduction of pain and inflammation. My husband blew out a disc a few years back and every now and again he overdoes it and suffers severe back pain. A few shots of this and life is tolerable again. I have also used in recipes - Golden Milk, Tumeric Smoothies, etc. This is the real deal! You won't be disappointed. I’ve had annoying (but not extreme) knee pain since childhood. I started taking turmeric along with black seed oil and my knee pain is literally gone. However, I wouldn’t say this alone got rid of the pain. The black seed oil helped and the price I paid helped me be more consistent with taking the turmeric daily. I definitely will continue to buy this. 1 month I will try taking the turmeric twice daily alone for 2 weeks to test it’s results alone. I use to wonder was the yellowish color real or not. It definitely is because I recently purchased fresh turmeric root to make a anti inflammatory tea along with ginger and omg my fingers and nails were stained yellow for a week. So that color and taste is definitely real. Don’t wear white while taking this! Also for those who are cry babies about natural supplements not tasting good. Yes it has a bad taste but you’re not taking it for flavor. It’s a supplement with proven health benefits. I chase it with water or coffee. My boyfriend puts it in his morning daily juice to mask the taste. It is what it is. At the end of the day it will help your inflammation problems and I will be buying again soon!

I take turmeric on the regular. I ran out of my normal capsules and needed a quick replacement. It's a nice strong extraction (strong taste, leaves the toothbrush yellow, etc.), the only thing is there's no black pepper in the formula to help with absorption of the curcumin so I had to remember to eat pepper when taking it. I've gone back to the caps I normally use, but this tincture got it done in a pinch.

I put this in my peppermint tea with ginger. I have IBS and it helps with the bloating of my stomach.

MAKE SURE THAT YOU READ THE INGREDIENT LABEL CAREFULLY!! This product has cane alcohol in it. I had no idea what that was until I literally felt drunk after having my first dropper. So that’s definitely MY MISTAKE. You can actually get a tiny “buzz” if you are sensitive to alcohol. It literally burned as I was swallowing it (mixed/diluted with water). I also would not recommend taking it if you are already taking any type of pain meds (narcotics especially).

Over 2yrs yrs trying to heal chronic inflammation without success even with diet & exercise & using my body as a ginuea pig with virtually every herb available.. Most made me worse but I did learn alot..I've chronic inflammation due to fractured sternum and anytime I take a herb which doesn't agree with me already red rash marks get worse..I've narrowed it down to excess glutamate as Im always in fight or flight mode and had terrible brain fog made worse by stimulants.. I just cudnt get ahead.. But enter turmeric and once thus stuff entered my body it has been miraculous..my body started healing and I cud feel and see it. Rashes not only didn't get worse but started clearing, I became more calm, mood improved and I cud finally start getting ahead.. My protocol is a glass of water on waking, then a jog then cold shower then I have 8 drops of this tumeric in a glass of slightly warm raw milk with some raw honey.. the affect can be felt within 1 hr and stronger as time goes by.. I'm no longer like a frightened rabbit and can now join conversations.. After a month I added 5 drops of milk thistle to it.. So my drink is 7 drops of tumeric, 5 drops of milk thistle, raw honey all in a medium glass of raw milk.. Tumeric has wonderful health benefits and I can vouch for that... I will update in 3 months..
