Really effective
This is an amazing item, perfect size and easy to clean.

Simple & efficient
With a little care not to overload the motor, this little blender will do almost everything asked of it. The two "jugs" are of a good size and are useful for storing "blends" in the fridge. It is particularly good at blending small amounts of dry ingredients, such as coffee beans, sugar (to make castor and icing sugar), and oats (to make oat flour)

**0/10 TERRIBLE Blenders!! Piece of Trash that Breaks After 12secs-to-a few Weeks!! Waste of £££!!**
I have had a seriously bad experience with these blenders AND with Breville customer service!!! They are among the WORST blenders I have ever used and the customer "guarantee" that they clearly state within their owner's manual is a complete façade!! (They lie about offering free replacement parts for faulty and/or missing parts - I have had 9 faulty parts + 1 missing part!). I had 4 of these exact same blenders!! They ALL lasted, in total, about 2 &1/2 months altogether (1 lasted about 4 weeks, 2 lasted around 2-4 weeks, 1 only 12 seconds) before they became completely useless broken trash! Customer service would NOT fulfill their guarantee and just kept sending generic, pre-scripted emails with general responses, not personalised replies! And I only managed to get Amazon to refund the one that I purchased online, as the ones I purchased in shops did not get refunded! (I was coerced into replacing them myself!). The foam-rubber protrusions on the blade mechanism that grip onto the motor's spindle keep falling apart leaving nothing to turn the blades as they are too soft/weak and all I used them for was: lots of water, diced fruits, small amount of super soft oats, powders, few nuts, etc.. to make really thin/watery smoothies that are easy to swallow & digest, but the incredibly weak foamy-rubbery (literally like rubber-infused Foam), kept breaking on every single blade mechanism that turns the blade (which can only work by 'catching-on' to the motor's spindle) they would literally fall apart/disintegrate rapidly - yet this is supposed to blend a lot thicker consistencies!! On one of them (the Amazon purchase), I had received a USED device with a missing part and thick white + brown substances *solidified* + embedded in every crevice of the blade part + black bits around the 'cog' that has fallen off in the motor part, it had rusted blade-tips, but because of my operation (facial surgery), I HAD NO CHOICE but to clean & use the blender because I had no money at the time and could not eat anything that was not blended into a drink because of my surgery, so I had no choice but to use this filthy, grimy device! And they (Breville) STILL wanted me to return it!! So Amazon apologised and refunded me, to which I purchased a £7-£8 SOUP BLENDER (plastic stick blender for making SOUP!) that I still have now (MONTHS LATER) that crushes ICE, NUTS, DRIED FRUIT & easily blends EXTREMELY THICK SMOOTHIES and still has NOT shown any signs of degradation even though it's a f*****g 'SOUP BLENDER'!!!!! One of the BRAND NEW Breville blenders failed after 12 seconds of use trying to blend soft fruits + oats + water!! - The foam-rubber spinner completely fell apart almost immediately and the motor caught on fire after 12 seconds!! Since this experience I REFUSE to purchase blenders online and have ALWAYS opened blenders up in the shops (I know I shouldn't), to see if they have this foamy-rubber spinner and MOST of them do!! Even the expensive ones!! So I just use my extremely EFFICIENT SOUP BLENDER STICK to make insanely thick, crushed solids, smoothies - without ANY issues for MANY MONTHS!!! These Breville blenders are crap, terrible customer service & food collects in the bottom without blending! Not worth a tenner! **The first picture shows ONE of the filthy Blade Parts, specifically, the particular one from the Used blender, that came Loose in the box, with Missing Parts - Breville NEVER rectified the situation... after weeks, Amazon did, thankfully! I began washing it before I realised it was in such a poor state. **The second picture displays the Broken 'rubber-foam' textured component (the bottom view of the first picture), that has those 'raised' notches which are designed to 'catch-on' to the rotor, in order to spin the blade. These have broken on EVERY single one of these same blenders, as aforementioned! They are VERY brittle and can be torn whilst essentially blending WATER! Get a £30-£40 1100w thick, metal hand/immersion blender - they are incredibly reliable and much more effective + efficienct; they're FAR SUPERIOR to any jug blender and allow for absolute control. It took me years and a cheap soup stick/hand blender to find that out!

Good...BUT!
Great little blender ... does what it says on the box. Only problem...the lid of one of the bottles has broken after only three uses! Hoping I can get a replacement lid or it's useless! Have since researched replacement lids! Wow...nearly £10 + postage....not happy

Great personal blender for smoothies, milkshakes and juices
I bought this Breville Blend Active for my partner to make smoothies, milkshakes and fruit juices, and it's been spot on. It's very easy to use - just add your ingredients, twist the bottle onto the base and blend. The power is impressive for a compact blender, handling frozen fruit, ice and thicker milkshakes without any issues. Smoothies come out smooth with no large chunks left behind.

Love
This blender is really handy and works well, it’s durable and does the job. It’s quick and easy when you want refreshing smoothies or milkshakes. It’s definitely worth the money !

Compact, seems really nice for the price but not durable or powerful
Great little smoothie maker... IF... ...you don't mind buying a new one every three months. Easy to clean, bottles are nicely portable and of a good size, blitzed most fruit quite happily, though really struggles with ice. I bought it in November and have uaed it every day. It is now February and, as for many other reviewers, the rubber nubs on the blade attachment have snapped off, rendering the entire product useless, except for the bottles, one of which now has a broken lid so is also useless. It was a good first one at only £19.99 to see if it was what I needed, but I'm not buying another one; I'll invest in something more powerful and of better quality next time. It is telling when the returns window closed three weeks before it broke really... it's almost as if they know it'll break 3 months in. Disappointed. TL;DR Compact, seems really nice for the price. Not durable or powerful.

Don't recommend. This served it's purpose for us when it was working but didn't last long. The rubber started wearing down only after a couple months use - noting we never even used this for ice or frozen fruit just to make milkshakes and it couldn't hold up. The rubber eventually wore out completely to the point where it stopped working as the groves flattened and the blade wouldn't move. Lasted about 10 months total but black rubber flakes with every use. I should have checked to see if it was under warranty but life gets busy and I didn't get round to it. Disappointed in this purchase as now it's just going to landfill. Loved the size and how easy it was to clean and it didn't take up much room on the bench. If the quality lasted longer I would have got another one because we did enjoy using it but I hate that it didn't last.

I’ve been using the Breville Blend Active regularly for my protein shakes, and I’m thoroughly impressed. It handles powders and liquids perfectly with no clumps, and the portable bottles make it so easy to grab and go. While it’s my daily go-to for shakes, I’ve realized it’s powerful enough for much more—it’s great for fruit smoothies and I’m looking forward to trying it out for other quick recipes like dressings or iced coffees. It’s compact, easy to clean, and has become an essential part of my kitchen routine. Highly recommended!

I haven’t used the product yet but was disappointing to find that it came all the way from Uk to AUS without power adaptor. I had to order one so i can use it.
