Works well; good value
This switch is just what I needed for doing precision work with my scroll saw. The spring action is just right. It's well made and takes seconds to hook up and seconds to unplug if I want to use the saw without it.

Momentary foot switch controls plug
I bought this to control an electric log splitter. The foot switch controls power to a plug. The plug goes into the wall outlet and the power tool plugs into the other side of the plug. The cord is 6’ long, an adequate length. The build quality is good and it functions as designed. It looks pretty good and is comfortable to use. The installation is simple, just plug into a wall outlet and the tool into the other side of the plug.

Great helper
Works great! I have it attached to my Dremel Moto-saw. Much easier to turn on and off than the switch on the saw itself. I still turn off the saw when not using, but with the foot switch it is more convenient when working on a project.

A tad flimsy, but it’ll do
I bought this to convert my blasting cabinet to foot operated rather than a squeeze trigger on the gun itself. This foot pedal works just fine, but it’s very lightweight and has a bunch of plastic. I doubt it’ll last forever, but it was a decent value for the price. Now that I’ve successfully converted my blast cabinet, I’ll make improvements on the concept as the original parts and pieces fail. Based on the money I spent on this footpedal, I’m satisfied with my purchase. I wasn’t sure I could reconfigure successfully, so I really wasn’t looking to spend a bunch of money for an experiment. I’m sure it will work just fine if I can avoid stomping on it or abusing it in some other way.

Switch to this switch, and you’ll be glad you did.
What I thought might be an insubstantial product that I would probably throw away after I finished my cleanup project, turned out to be a very sturdy tool. I had about 250 old prescription bottles collected over years past that I needed to remove or obliterate before recycling them. The labels were difficult to remove y my old method of filling the bottles with hot water and then peeling the label off and adding it to a stack of old labels and the recapping the bottles and throwing them into a big garbage bag. Slow and tedious. But since the labels were designed to be compatible with the heat printing printers I figured that I could just heat the whole label still on the bottles and just recycle them with blacked out labels still attached. I got out my heat gun and started. Good idea, bad process. I would turn on the heat gun, heat/obliterate the label, turn off the heat, check the label for thoroughness of damage, throw in garbage bag, grab another bottle, and ….you know - wash rinse repeat. After about the first twenty five bottles or so my trigger finger was raw from the tight stiff slide switch. Rethink the process; I’d done something similar with a sanding job with my belt sander months ago with an inline switch. Good process, still could be better. Maybe a foot switch like for my Christmas tree lights. Foun one on Amazon Prime that was momentary on while foot pressed pedal. Eureka!!! Finished job in one sitting. Didn’t burn out the heat gun, didn’t lose a finger or two, no major burn’s from heat gun or hot bottles. Now had two empty bins to fill up. Just the thing for my extension cords. One of the best purchases recently. And the switch? Worked positively great, and hardly a scratch or over stressed spring. Now looking for some other project for this switch.

Would be better if the input and output cables entered at the same hole, or at most within 90° of each other? Having the input and output at 180° presumes this is going to be installed in-line, which I think is unlikely.

All of sudden, I smelled and found it is burning. My thumb is burned. Do not use it for heavy duty work.
