No health insurance - treated mallet finger succesfully on my own with this...
I also had to order two sizes, as some of the other reviews noted. I injured my pinkie finger on the left hand and after some web research I realized I had "mallet finger". I went to urgent care first (uninsured at the time) and spent $90 to find out that is what I truly had. I refused the $300+ xrays and went home and immediately ordered one of these (size 3 at first). I also watched some videos on Youtube explaining how to use the splints during each phase of mallet finger treatment. Within six weeks (I wore it constantly, day and night), I was able to move down to size 2. It was very uncomfortable at first because of my swollen finger (it was probably broken, as well), but much better than wearing a bulky splint - and I was able to continue typing for my job and continue other normal activities without issue. With a traditional splint I would not have. The injury occurred about 5 months ago and I now only wear the size 2 splint at night, but only because I wanted my finger to be completely straight, which it is now thanks for constant wearing at first, and continued night wearing for now. I'll continue to wear it at night for several months to ensure my finger stays straight. This splint is well worth the $8 a piece I spent on each size. It arrived very fast, too!

The sizing is really hard to get right the first time
After reading how to size for this product, I ordered a size 2 for my right ring finger. The splint is so small I can't even put it on my pinky finger. I live out of the US and have to ship everything through a freight forwarder so it really sucks that I didn't get it right the first time, because I won't be able to return it. After figuring out the size that I probably need, I'd like to be able to order sizes 3, 4, and 5... But the way they package them is 2, 3, 4 and 4, 5, 6. Literally impossible to get the range of sizing I think that I need, without buying 2 packs. And these aren't cheap, considering that if you buy just 1, you're paying $12 for a tiny piece of plastic. So, this review is basically on the way the product is sized and value for price. After having this condition a month and trying every splint I can, I think this one will be the best, if I can get the right one. Once I do, I will offer a new review.

Sizing chart was way off
According to the size chart, I measured and then ordered a size 2 splint for my mallet finger injury. It was WAY too small and I couldn’t even get it on my finger. Thank goodness they included a size 4 one, which worked with a bit of wrapping to make it fit. (See photo) I am very glad they sent a bigger splint, but chart needs adjusting.

perfect fit!
I am an adult female with very small hands and I needed a splint for my pinky finger, which is very small. I fully expected it to be too large but it fit perfectly! I researched the item and found that the pediatric kit starts with size 3 so I was happy to find the size 2. Works well for now, but while I still have some swelling, I'm hoping that it will fit for at least a few weeks. I love this splint because I don't have too worry when I wash my hands since it's waterproof! Definitely recommended!

This is actually an awesome splint. After taping my finger and intermittently wearing a metal/foam splint, this felt like near freedom. My finger could breath, wasn't turning white and I could put my hand in water, shower etc. On top of that, it holds my top knuckle perfectly in place as needed with no chance of movement. Unfortunately, I measured my uninjured finger, not thinking of the inflammation in the injured one. I was able to wear the splint for a few days and loved it, but it became too snug after that and I had to stop wearing it. I'm hoping in time I can wear it again when the inflammation subsides. I have many weeks to go before the tendon heals and I know this will be a huge relief to get back into.

Be careful with sizing!!! There’s no returns/exchanges!
Received this product today and I’m very upset about the sizing. I measured my pinky finger correctly and went according to the size on the chart and it was completely off. It was way smaller than I had measured. I tried to return it and now I see there’s no return or exchange which totally sucks. All I want to do is exchange it two sizes it up since it’s really really small. It’s so small it can fit my 4 year olds finger! Waste of money. First pic of my sons little finger and then second of my pinky.

Need a jeweler to measure finger
Did measurement as required. But device did not fit. Suggest you get a jeweler to measure first. Then it MAY work.
