Celestial Fire Glass - Crushed, Cobalt Blue (1/2" to 3/4") | 10 Pound Jar

We own a mid-century house in Palm Springs and finally decided to convert our fireplace to glass rocks (which is very popular in Palm Springs!). The glass rock itself is absolutely beautiful! It sparkled when the fireplace was lit. Unfortunately, the glass rock we selected did not withstand the heat of the flames coming out of the natural gas pipe in our fireplace. The rocks near where the flames come out turned brown after a few weeks. We emailed the company and received an immediate response. They gave us several options including replacing the entire fireplace (10 jars!) with a higher grade of glass that can withstand higher levels of heat. We didn't think that was necessary so we opted to have them send us two jars of the higher grade glass. The color match is close and the mirrored surfaces of the higher grade adds a nice touch to the effect. So while we were not happy with the original purchase, we are thrilled with the manufacturer's solution to the issue and HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!

I was making myself exhausted by researching which fireglass to buy..literally spent way too much time. I saw this seller and the positive reviews. What really sold me was their video AND made in USA. Watch their video. The packaging was great. It wasn’t thrown in a plastic bag. It came in a sturdy plastic container that’s crated in a box. All the pieces are a nice size and the blue glass is beautiful.

These rocks are made with great quality and design. I would highly recommend this company for the quality product they produce and the customer service they provide. I ordered the 1/2"-3/4' size which my wife preferred over just the 1/2'" size rocks. These rocks are definitly not like the other cheaply made rocks that chip and deteriorrate into dust particles like most other brands I've seen my friends use. Great packaging too.

I love this glass "rock" material. I used it in a somewhat non-traditional way to simulate water flowing over white marble stone chips in my front yard display. It is easy to handle, with no sharp glass edges to worry about cutting your hands, and they are shaped like natural rough-cut stones. The blue color is very rich and a gorgeous deep blue sapphire--very pretty, especially if you like blue. I highly recommend this product. And if you want to use it in a more traditional way in a gas fire pit or table, these chips would look beautiful.

We liked the celestial fire glass. It looks good and holds up very well. The problem was we didn't have enough to fill the fire pit so we used order again to get more but was shipped a different brand and type of glass. Hopefully we can get this sorted out.

I’ve been on the hunt for crystal clear, star-fire fire-pit glass for years and after multiple fire pits full of other brands, this one FINALLY made the cut. These are not flat, reflective-coated shards....... They’re slightly tumbled, chunks of irregular shaped, sometimes smooth/sometimes sharp-edges pieces. The “clear” option is exactly as advertised, they’re really crystal clear without any visible greenish tint. These are as close to looking like ice as I’ve been able to find.

The color is beautiful. Just needed two containers for this fire pit so in two whole containers...only a couple tiny shards of glass were in it which to me, is a plus. Too many shards could either A....clog the drain when initially rinsing the “dusty powder” out before putting into the pit...and B...go through the small propane holes and cause problems. All in all, very happy and will update later after a few months use if need be.

I used 30 pounds in a 10x30 fire pan and burner, also sold by Celestial here on Amazon. The color was uniform throughout all three 10-pound jars. Through my fire pit planning and build, I also had an opportunity to contact Celestial Fire Glass directly for advice and the customer service was excellent.
