Works like It should, well built and readings seem to be accurate.

Nice compact meter, but it is not very accurate compared to an actual WBGT meter

For being cheap it is very accurate on average it’s off maybe 1mph vs my kestrel and I gave 10xs the cost for my kestrel

It works. It takes several minutes for the black sphere to heat up in sunlight. Patience, Grasshoppah. Default alarm ranges aren't the same as milspec numbers. Tweak settings to suit your preferred standard.

Good for price, not as accurate as my Kestrel but will get you in the ball park.

We live in the south and recently moved here from up north. Summers get extremely hot and humid here for a few months. Right now its fall, so I pre-heated our sauna to see how well this works and if it works as advertised. I set the heat threshold at 100 degrees and entered the sauna, and it worked as advertised immediately started sounding the alarm shared video here so you can see how it transitions to alarm state when exceeding a heat threshold. A great safety tool for if you plan to work outside in summer ensures you avoid extreme temperatures that could put health at risk or hydrate. Great tool!

For the price and the number functions it performs, this little handheld is quite useful. Wet bulb temp isn't all that hard to calculate if you know the temperature and humidity, but having it calculated on the fly is a nice feature. If you plan to do hiking, camping, or other long-term outdoor exposure activity, this could be a literal life saver.

We used this on a prescribed burn of a prairie recently. It's a helpful, handy tool! I appreciate the different modes, and the strong backlighting. It's a solid build. It did a great job of measuring wind speed. That's critical for a lot of things, such as ensuring you aren't lighting fires on windy days, or it you have a fire going, you can be ready for wind drafts if you measure them and know where they are. This is also useful for measuring wind and preventing drift during pesticide application. It's interesting to be able to measure the heat when you're performing a prescribed burn. It's a good way to show some of these "invincible" old timers that the heat levels are high and convince them to take breaks and drink water. Good quality anemometer!

Funciona muy bien. Ideal para medición en zonas de trabajo. He contrastado los datos con otros medidores y la variación es mínima. Yo lo uso con trípode, ya que para una medición adecuada lo tienes que dejar unos minutos.
