I have spinal arthritis and need to keep my feet slightly elevated. It’s heavy enough not to slide about, but very sturdy so will hold up to lots of wear.

Everyone is scrambling to set up their home offices and we're no exception. My wife and I both feel the pain of sitting and working for long periods of time, even in the best office chair. Mainly the pressure and pain are focused behind the knee at the edge of the seat. This footrest is the perfect solution and offers comfort while working and pain relief. I like the professional office looking style. Powder coated steel with a rubber surface. Works wearing shoes or going barefoot. It's a minimalistic style and works on carpet or hard surface floors. We purchased this one because all the other foot rests are plastic (which I hate) and they look like large children's toys under your desk. It's kind of a retro looking footrest, but I like to think of it as a classic design style. We bought one to try it out and ended up fighting over who gets to use it because it works so well. So, I'm here buying another one to save my marriage and improve company morale. :) Excellent investment in keeping yourself healthy and comfortable while sitting and working.

I ended up using it more as a stationary foot rest. It's hard to move up and down. It has non-slip grips but they still slide around. It's high quality though and the top part is comfortable on my feet.

I am very happy with this metal footrest. Yes, it costs a bit more, but it's so worth it! It will definitely last much longer than a hard plastic one, which I purchased initially and it broke not long after. This metal footrest will also provide more support than the foam type, which I purchased after the hard plastic one broke. I decided to purchase this metal one because I believed that not only would it provide the support that I was looking for, but it would also last a very long time because it's made of metal. It provides excellent support!

This model is the best foot rest on Amazon right now. It's not too high and it's very sturdy. I've tried the cheaper rocker-type ones and they all took up too much room and weren't very stable. This one is much more comfortable.

Pretty basic. It seems sturdy, it would be better if it had a way to lock it into a particular position.

I'm on the shorter side (somewhere around 5'3"-5'4"), and have a back injury from 2018. My desk chair at it's lowest setting is still slightly too high for my knees and hips to be at a perpendicular 90 degree angle to my spine while seated. With a seat pillow for sacrum/pelvis support, that distance is even greater. My sister let me borrow her footrest when my injury pain flared and it helped so much that I bought myself one. This footrest is just the perfect height to make up for the discrepancy. Plus the fact it rotates means that I can angle it however I like for that much more comfort. If you're on the fence about getting one, I love mine and I don't think you'll regret buying yourself one too.
