If there is a router that has it all, it's this one. WiFi 7 with support for 6GHz band to get the maxium speed wirelessly. two 10 Gb/s ports, one for WAN/LAN and one for LAN, along with four 2.5 Gb/s ports (one WAN/LAN and three LAN). Setup is a breeze. I connected my other ASUS RT-BE92U WiFi7 in AiMesh mode and now I get very large coverage across all areas of my house using a single SSID. Also connected my VPN to hookup my IP phone and it works flawlessly with 0 disconnections and very low latency.

A "beast" of a router. Setup once and forget.

Purchasing two Asus ROG AXE16000 routers, I anticipated premium performance and reliability, reflective of their high cost and the Asus brand's strong market presence. Regrettably, the reality fell short of my expectations, with both routers failing within their first year of use. This was particularly surprising and disappointing, given the reputation and price point of these devices. The subsequent customer service experience added to my frustration. After sending the routers in for repair, I've been left without a resolution for over a month and a half. The prolonged wait, coupled with a lack of clear communication from Asus, has been a significant inconvenience, affecting my reliance on a dependable internet connection for both personal and professional needs. I chose these routers for their supposed cutting-edge performance and Asus's acclaim in the technology sector. However, the premature product failures and the less-than-satisfactory service response have led me to question the value and reliability of Asus's high-end offerings. This ordeal has been a cautionary tale for me, and I share this review to inform potential buyers about the possible challenges with product durability and customer support when investing in expensive tech solutions from Asus.

Very capable router that maxes out my internet and server streams, but I just can’t get any of my wifi 6 able devices to latch on a wifi 6 connection.

Getting <1ms jitter and <10ms latency over wifi is absolutely nuts. The signal doesn't go through walls particularly well, even at 2.4g, but I think that's the walls in our house rather than this hardware. Not a huge fan of the configuration app or the form factor because I am not a teenage boy, but I don't need to look at either now they're set up and hidden away.

A bit struggle to set up but when everything finished with 3 more routers in mesh, it flies, fast ping and tons of options, with 1 gb fiber I get 920 mb with this router, double speed then before! Really satisfied and can really advise people to buy!

È un prodotto che convince fin da subito e che mantiene le promesse anche negli scenari più esigenti. L’ho utilizzato sia collegato a un modem 5G esterno, sia su connessione FTTH a 2,5 Gbps, ottenendo in entrambi i casi prestazioni eccellenti. La copertura è ampia, le velocità molto elevate e in WiFi 7 con MLO si nota un netto salto di qualità in termini di stabilità e throughput. La gestione è uno dei punti forti: nonostante le funzionalità avanzate (quad-band, doppia porta 10G, WAN di backup, sicurezza integrata), l’app è chiara e intuitiva e il setup iniziale è rapido, anche per chi non vuole perdere tempo in configurazioni complesse.
