I had a recipe that I needed to try but it required having a thermometer to make sure the oil stayed at a particular temperature. I decided to purchase this and it arrived the day I decided to make my recipe. It worked flawlessly. I like that it has a clip you can put on the edge of the pan to hold it where you need it to be in the oil. It is very easy to read. This will definitely be a useful accessory to have in my kitchen.

Good thermometer slightly heavy easy to read

It works well and is easy to use! I would say it was 100% worth the price! My only issue with it is it's a bit slow to come to read temp but otherwise still great!

It’s crazy how many reviews are dumping on the “useless clip” and giving this product a negative review because of it. Sure, out of the box it might not work for your exact pot/fryer. But guys, you can easily reshape the pliable metal on this clip to your exact specifications with a set of pliers. It took me about 2 minutes to make adjustment so the thermometer sat the way I needed it to, and I’m just mildly handy. The actual thermometer seems to work just fine, and is long enough for some deep frying bubbly bliss. In summary.. buy this thing as long as you are willing to spend 2 minutes exerting minimal effort to bend/reshape the clip to work for your situation.

This thermometer is accurate and very easy to use. The adjustable clip makes it hands-free when using!

Easy to read and is accurate. It's really long. Tends to fall out of my 7 qt Dutch oven if I'm not careful. Should have paid attention to length in description. My fault. Also, I do not like the clip. It works, but it sticks way out into the pot. Gets in the way of my fry basket. Can't use both.... Which is a problem when I cook fried shrimp or potato chips, etc. Works well for fried chicken when I need temperature regulated. My husband's going to try and fix the clip - or find another smaller one. There's no reason for it to be so big that I can see.

Have used it 3 times so far to fry up some Zucchini flowers and it worked beautifully everytime. Will recommend to family and friends.

Great product reacts quickly to heat

I like its accuracy and the length as I do my deep frying in a very deep stock pot.

Good for use as advertised. The scales are a bit difficult to read also it reads about 5degree C too high. not a big drawback but nevertheless not 5 stars.

No complaints with this thermometer at all.
