I like kidde products which are well made and easy to use. It's compact and can be placed where you want the device. Gas leak detection is good when prouduct tested and the flashing lights are explained. Battery life is long and prouduct good for piece of mind

Well known company in the fire detection and monitoring business. Bought these to replace my existing detectors of the same brand which lasted about 7 years. They do expire after a number of years, that's the nature of the sensor. My previous ones lasted a bit longer than the expiry date. Good quality batteries last for ages in these devices. Don't use cheap batteries your life depends on it.
