BEST OUT THERE
These earbuds are the best I’ve tried out.b & o finally released a set where the volume can be set to a higher bar.the side of the earbuds are glass.beautiful and do not fall out while walking.the charging case is not plastic but might scratch easily.the app is excellent but does at times not connect to the earbuds and had to reboot.highly recommended buying these bad boys.if it’s quality of sound your after you really do get what you pay for.

So easy to set up, very comfortable and the sound is exceptional
Absolutely fantastic !!. I’ve had several over the years, many ridiculously expensive, but never really found them comfortable nor the sound particularly inspiring. These were comparatively inexpensive so I thought I’d give them a go, not really expecting much. They were so simple to set up via the B&O app, they are very comfortable, they are the first pair I’ve had that NEVER fall out whatever I’m doing, and the sound is exceptional. There is excellent separation, I can hear every instrument, every nuance, and the bass is very impressive. I’m delighted and highly recommend them. p.s. I have very small ear channels.

Buy them for the sound, not for the Noise Cancellation.
I wanted a pair earbuds that had really good sound quality that could be on par or better than Bose earbuds. After watching reviews online, i thought ill give them a go and see if they are what people say. To my surprise the sound quality are really good! You can use the app to adjust EQ settings to your liking, but i would have prefered it if they used sliders to tune the EQ. Some cons i have with these earbuds: 1) Noise cancellation/ transparency mode is not great - I used them for running and i find it difficult to hear cars coming by me. The NC is there but its definiely not as good as some others. 2) connectivity issues - From time to time the connection will blip and your music will cut out for a few seconds. Overall if your looking for some earbuds that has good noise cancellation, you're better off going with Bose or Sonys. Since i already have another pair earbuds for noise cancelling im not too bothered about these having poor NC.

Sound good, but after a week have feedback on the left bud.
I'll start by sayin I'm a B&O fan, but not at all when it comes to the EX's Firstly. When they arrived all seemed well. Aside from having to spend over £60 on tips the get a good fit. I found them to be a little uncomfortable as the pill shape digs into the back of my ear over time. Yet I continued to try them as the sound was ok. Not great, but very honest with good timbre if not a little warm. I can deal with a little discomfort, but then my second point. The connection. Every single time I use these one or both buds eventually lose connection and require placing in the case for a few minutes. I cannot find a way to get them to work without placing back in the case. I can live with this too, despite my Sony, sennheiser, b&w not having any such issue. This brings me to my final issue and the reason I'm left with no option but to return. This morning I plugged these into my ear with and started to hear glimmer in the left phone. It sounded like high pitch feedback from an amp. I tested it to find it's the noise cancelling. It may go away I thought, but no! Now when using noise cancelling or transparency the left phone has a constant clicking noise with loud high pitch feedback loop. I have added a video which lets you hear the clicking noise. This only happens when noise cancelling or transparency is active and only the left bud These are £350 and even if they were £35 I would expect them to work longer than a week. I am very disappointed and cannot recommend as I have had too many issues and finally an item which doesn't work. I have not abused them, I have used them exactly as I use all my others and had no intention of sending them back as I love the way they look and did love the brand.

Awesome earbuds overall.
Having returned the Bose ultra quiet comfort earbuds twice now and investing in B&O, they are awesome. Comfortable, sound quality is as expected from B&O.

Underwhelming at best.....
Don't get me wrong, the sound out of these is amazing but........ I wouldn't say for the price they are great. Other wireless earphones come soo close to how these sound for less than these and have way more features. The app for instance doesn't recognise most of the time the buds are out of the case or that the case is open. The anc and transparency mode basically do nothing (although I wouldn't but these buds if you wanted those) and lastly the fit of the earbuds inside your ear are slightly too big that it genuinely hurts using them after 10 mins and feels like the inside of your ear is bruising. There also isn't much functionality in the all itself. Not allowing any sort of customisation with controlls and the EQ is underwhelming at best. Some good things are the sound quality like I said are actually really good. The case feels nice and is metal (but does scratch really easily) and I do actually like the look of them with the glass in the middle. The build of the buds themselves are really good. But in my opinion, I wouldn't but these buds again or recommend them to anyone because for the same price, there are different buds like the xm5 and the jbl tour pro 3 that sound just as good if not better in the jbl case with certain songs that I would recommend them and not these.

Not bad, but not as good as others in the same price range
After trying everywhere to try these in store, I thought I’d bite the bullet and buy a pair to try them. I compared the B&O Beoplay EX, the Sony 1000XM5, the B&W Pi8 and the Bose QuietComfort 2. The B&O felt the most lightweight of the bunch, and after trying the various ear tip sizes I got a good seal. I wasn’t blown away by the sound quality though - yes, all the detail was there, but nothing stood out as particularly fantastic. The main reason for not choosing these was the comfort. The ear tips are made of very thin silicone and it means the fit doesn’t stay comfortably. In comparison to the other three, this was the least comfortable. The song was Cheaper and for me it was more comfortable and sounded better. These B&O also were the only ones that didn’t auto connect quickly after the first pairing. You put them away and when getting them out you have to manually find them on the Bluetooth devices on the phone half the time. Overall, yeah they’re an OK pair of headphones but they don’t stand up to the competition when it comes to quality, comfort and sound.

There are probably no better headphones, they are expensive, but you will get what you expect
