ST-100X Arctic Blue Mirrored Survival & Tactical Full Face Respirator with P-D-1 Single 40mm Carbon Activated Charcoal Filter Canister

This is a great piece of kit. Fits well, easy to put on and adjust the straps for the correct fit. The 40mm connector makes it easy to install and remove the filter quickly when needed and for storing in the military surplus gas mask bag I purchased. Parcil also sells protective film for the plastic face shield part that will keep it from getting nicks and scratches. I will use this for string trimming, mulching leaves, cutting bushes with lots of dust, and in the dump waste facility transfer station where all sorts of nasty dust permeates the air. While unloading a utility trailer by hand in the dump transfer station for at least 1/2 hour I was able to breathe easily with no face shield fogging, and no sensation of lack of air. I was using a reusable P3 particulate filter rather than the expensive CBRN or charcoal activated one that removes smells so there was a faint whiff of the smell of trash. The first time I used the respirator, the strap underneath each ear came loose and allowed dust and smell in. Once I pulled them tight, all good again. I am not sure if there is a particular order in which the straps are pulled tight once the respirator is put on to avoid this or not, and worth noting so full protection is always available in whatever situation you find yourself. It feels great to know I am protected and weird to put this mask on and look like a character in an apocalyptic horror movie. Love not having to breathe dust and crap while doing yard work and cough for 3 days afterward.

Excellent product

I wanted to give 4 stars at 1st until I realized my gripe wasn't a fault of the product or advertising it was my lack of reading I wanted the more durable butler rubber but this is not it. However product does work as stated. Good seal and good view. The filter works as well but you can purchase other that are a little lighter. Overall very pleased with my purchase.

Hands down quality. Perfect for an emergency, affordable for the everyday person like me. The color is really nice and mirror, straps adjust and you can switch filters depending on what you need it for. It comes standard with one filter, but other ones are available for purchases.

Havent tested it in action but it looks like cheap material and is very small. Should be slightly bigger

This is the best fitting fullface respirator I have ever used. It fits my face so well, that all I have to do is snug up the straps and I get an air tight seal, which is necessary for proper function. However, my nose has a natural bump on its ridge that is pressed upon by the top ridge of the interior nose cup. If this ridge were relaxed or eliminated then the comfort of the fit would be ideal for me. Also, there is no fogging of the lens, which is a common problem for fullface respirators, and I can see clearly through the lens in its full range, so the visibility of this fullface respirator is superior to the other fullface respirators I have used. The manufacture of this mask is also superior to other fullface respirators, so in conclusion I highly recommend this fullface respirator.
